why isnt the guitarist more appreciated? he is insanely good and original. not to mention hes one of the best rock backup vocalists around. definitely the unsung hero of the band in my opinion
Also, authentic guitar sound, everything sounds very real. They're just that good I guess, compared to so many acts today that use every trick in the book to only sound half as good as their albums live.

Brian Rodriguez yea but if on mobile you can’t go directly to each song. On my laptop it shows the times blue, but not in mobile that’s why I added this comment.
Brian Rodriguez ok well I’m on I phone 7 plus and I don’t see the set list blue for my phone that’s why I put this lol I’m sure I’m not the only one you’re just lucky I guess.
Hanif Arya Prayogi different drummer. Original drummer has MS and cannot handle touring duties anymore. Jordan Hastings plays with them now. Previously of Jersey and Alexisonfire. Original drummer still very involved with band doing phots and videos.
@Kal Reynolds i only know the sound was really horrible. The opening band sounds better. I saw them in Germany wiesbaden. Most rockconcerts i have been the sound was much better. Very sad
The Camera Angle Chooser clearly didnt like bass, ive watched about 4 songs here and there throughtout the video, and i think they cut to him once the entire time.
The drummer, Jordan Hastings, is from a band called Alexisonfire, and is filling in for Billy Talent's original drummer Aaron, who's no longer able to tour due to advances in his MS diagnosis.
@@bloodbrother1000 I am a massive Billy Talent fan, and yes, they are a band, but he writes pretty much everything and their sound is pretty much...him.
My Bassist said something that‘s very spot on: „Even if you don‘t like Billy Talent, you have to admit that they are possibly on of the best Musicians ever lived. They can‘t sound bad live. Everyone else are just jealous because they can‘t get as good as them.“
I seen them 3 times in concert and honestly , these guys are real good . Theres just having a blast . They slowed down on the stage . I remember on their first tour . Jesus christ i was grttin daisy tryin to follow the singer with my eyes . But honestly still after 15-20 years, theses guys bring a smile to my face everytime i hear them .
Hi bro, have you ever heard of Iron Maiden or Rammstein ? You should check it out Billy Talent is such good shit but they're kinda not live legends (yet, we'll see what's to come)
@@midares4239 Yeah my man, I have! They are great performers, I just found Billy Talent being impressively close to the album quality when performing live.
@@midares4239 I wouldnt count rammstein, they use a quieter playback to help them olay along, plus they had playback vocals for ich tuh dir weh, im a fan im swiss and i understand what they say. For me best live performers were Linkin Park
I met a kid in the late 90's and the first time I heard him play I knew he was something special. High action and intensity and perfectly dramatic mood shifts. He was about 16 and he sounded a lot like D'Sa today. With low end equipment he was able to pull off clean, creative, original riffs and melodies. You know how a great player can get on any equipment and sound phenomenal? This kid was already that good. Over a few years I watched him progress as he was in a band with a close buddy. He got into pill popping during the end of that time. He was found dead of a heroin overdose under a tree in a park. When I hear D'Sa's riffs and change ups I get reminded of the first player that gave me the same feeling of wow. If he were still with us he would've gone places.
Understood, but I see most of fans are static during concert, understand also it was festival, so there were a lot of bands. But Billy Talent is for me one of the most valuable band for concerting. Reason is simple: Their singer comunicate with fans very frequently, he has sense for humor and good opinions. So it was a little bit sad for me, there was almost no reaction from fans.
The band of my teenagedays. Everytime I need Power (like goingg to a test on university) Im listening to them.....remembering that everything is going to be fine.
man the crowd was a downer i would of been so hyped to see these guys play. my childhood. man i wish they play river below or line and sinker. glad the guys sound so good today even after many years.
i’m seeing that a lot lately, MIW had the same thing. one time everyone in the audience was recording, no. moshing or cheering or singing along or nothing
I saw them for their first small Canadian tour just after Try honesty was released, It was at my local college and maybe 50ppl showed up. Seen them 5 more times and loved seeing them get bigger and bigger, I knew from that first show, Amazing live ❤
Spongeboob these guys have been around since the 90's as Billy talent and 10 years before that as pez, they are professionally trained musicians if he was gonna lose his voice it would have happened a long time ago
These guys don't get enough play here in the states...they're phenomenal & I'd loved their sound since the first time I heard Red Flag when I was still in high school. Mind blowingly good stuff!
Everything about this concert is amazing, the quality of the guitar, the vocals, the drumming, the bass, the messages he has between songs, the camera angles they have recorded for this. This is just amazing and I love this band so much.
What an amazing set! I’ve loved this band for years. They’re all so talented! I’m from BC, my husband just doesn’t relate. It’s a beautiful show and I have all of the albums. I’m so happy to see them all treated with the respect they deserve !
One of my favourite bands for sure. A friend of mine brought the first album to a party at my house over 20 years ago, and I'll always thank him for that. It was played all weekend and we couldn't believe how good it was.
Holy shit Buds. After so many years as a billy talent fan i can still listen to their songs. And although i know each rif, each drop and the most verses they still excite. This band is a masterpiece of rockmusic. Its so sad the crowd doesnt appreciate it they way they deserve to be appreciated. Billy Talent is truly a milestone in music. I bet they will have still fans after their death!
@@TheGuyBruvoh, many people. For example, Dallon Weekes is an amazing bassist / songwriter / singer, and what he does with his bass is amazing. Bassists and drummers are both underrated bc they give a song a foundation while the rest is, let's call it, flavor. Bassists are important and great and that you don't care about them shows that not enough people appreciate them. Sorry for the rant but I can't stand disrespect like this lmao
What a privilege for this crowd to hear one of the most accurate live performances ever. These dudes shatter minds with this performance. Hard to believe!
One of their best performances after Area 4, love the recording quality. I'm aware the crowd was better than one thinks based on the audio but man most of them couldn't even appreciate what they were witnessing here. Billy Talent one of the best rock bands of this century!
My first concert was a Billy Talent concert back in 2005 when I was 16. Show was sold out and tickets were only $10, but we offered the bouncer double and got in. I’ve seen them multiple times since - always phenomenal!
long time fan and they've developed so so much since the first days I've listened to them. Seriously THE single most powerful live performance today for me. Absolutely love these guys. Hope to see Aaron back in action and well soon.
Been waiting for them to come to amercai for years. Just watched this entire video in my living room pretending I was there live. Please come back to the USA. I neeeeed yyooouuu
