Both Katy Perry and Taylor Swift could sing very well when they STAND STILL. They become inconsistent when they have to move around on stage. Lady Gaga and Pink could move and sing at the same time very well, but I know these two not only have good pitch to begin with (I assume they either have perfect pitch or very strong relative pitch), they also do hardcore physical training. I believe Katy and Taylor do some sort of training as well, but the intensity of their training is probably not strong enough, so they can't breath smoothly when they have to sing and move.
Katy can definitely sing it's just when she starts dancing her singing does become extremely inconsistent. You have to have a lot of training when it comes to dancing and singing at the same time. So if she just stuck to visual effects and background she could pull off an amazing show and she wouldn't need to dance. Same goes for Taylor I know that woman can sing. A couple bad performances should not have them labeled as bad or fake singers

Katy and Taylor sing very well most of the time like a lot. In 2015+ they got better at dancing and singing as we can see from the Prism Tour and Witness Tour same with Taylors rep tour.
these aren't bad singers. they can all sing minus Selena. I'm a Selena fan, but I'm not deaf. I love her music and I hope she keeps doing music, but let's not lie to ourselves and let's not be delusional, she cannot sing, she's mediocre at her BEST
They all can sing. And i know Selena has some falls in vocals, but Same Old Love performance isn't only best performance from her. She has so amazing live performances and if this page admin wants, that his/her page be popular, don't shade singers who can sing. We need good shade, don't fake.

Taylor's had much better vocals. Specially than that clip from Shake It Off you included where the voice doesn't stay in the front, it kinda goes backwards towards her throat. But she's done some amazing things. Don't Blame Me live for example.
a lot of these artist are meant to be more performance based on stage and some are meant to be vocally based on stage, it’s not just good and bad singing. not everyone is a broadway performer who are taught how to move/dance and sing at the same time. shits hard!!
With Rihanna it's the pure preference, I like it when she experiments and has fun with it, would you want to sing the same song a thousand times on stage the exact same way?
For the haters of Selena Gomez She know she doesn't have the voice that audience wanted but she still sings and we have to appreciate her so many people have said criticised her voice but she is a performer.

@@amishlakra4777 becasue she literally has fans. Look, I really like her, she's LOVELY and her material is pretty good. But she has had some singing moments that show sometimes she has 0, ZERO control of her voice. I don't know if it's that she keeps writing/choosing songs outside her range or that she needs to change her vocal coach. No one is saying she's a horrible person and she's been through a lot of crap but it's harder to find clips of her live performances where she slays, than to find an okay to meh one. That is sadly a fact. Fame and talent are not the same thing. A lot of things can make you famous, even good things. She reached that place on Billboard because she has other talents, she has super loyal and incredible fans, she works hard and she SELLS well. But that doesn't make her more than an okay singer. Which is what she is. I'm sorry but that's how I see it. I do hope she surprises everyone one day.

They all have good vocals anyway! You try singing Infront of hundreds and dancing when the backing vocals/guide thingy is just an earphone in your ear when you are in a stadium of screaming people, also trying to put on a good performance whilst coping with nerves. Not as easy as it might look.
