I watched Bad Wolves perform this live when they supported Nickelback in Melbourne in 2019. The lead singer was literally in tears talking about their experience working with Delores before she passed. Just incredible!
Rest in Peace Dolores O'Riordan I think The Bad Wolves certainly did The Cranberries justice with this song. I don't know why I get chills everytime I hear this song.
I think so top, but a few minuts ago i read that the cranberries di the Bad wolves for the Cover. Sad World where such wonderful Tribute gets insulted from the ex bandmembers of the original track/Band. Ungrateful
You should check out 'Remember When' by Bad Wolves. It talks about his twin brother who went to prison for attempting to kill the singer while high during a home invasion. Crazy story to read about nonetheless.

Um its a great song about two twins just not the singer. Still a powerful message on how two people can grow up different even tho they had the same life. Its a true story too. That's the sad part
Ive never heard of bad wolves. This probably isn't a hard song to learn but goddamn.... to pull it off right is the hard part. This is one of the songs that people would consider uncoverable because of its power. They did alright
They did very well with this cover. I had heard this a couple of months ago, and was blown away with it. Dolores would have been proud and I know the members of the surviving members of the Cranberries are pleased with it
The imagery in the video is as powerful as the words.. The veil between this world and the next, and the woman in gold, who represents Delores, covers it with paint to signify she is gone... Heavy stuff.

This song was so much part of my identity and early twenties . Working abroad in a foreign language , this song came out and proudly let me immerse myself in .., Irishness . I grew up in the seventies like Dolores and felt the shame and despair over our beautiful islands involvement in terrorism and murder. This song was our island saying stop .., not in our name. Much respect to the Bad Wolves … they nailed it . I’m in tears watching … memories flooding back .
He changed the lyric in this song from "It's the same old theme since 1916" to "in 2018". 1916 was the Easter Rising here in Ireland when we fought the British to have an Irish Republic and get out from the British rule. It's an excellent cover

When I first heard someone was covering Zombie I was super skeptical. They did an amazing job honoring the original and adding their own spin. Very powerful

The Black Wolves are immensely talented band. But if they never record another piece of music, they must know this cover stands on its own for its fantastic musical artistry, in every way.
I bought the Cranberries CASETTE tape at the mall when it first came out. Ran to my car, put it into the tape player and rocked out all the way home! Showing ny age. I love this version too. It is dark and pulls in the macabre elements perfectly.
The way you leaned in before the first chorus dropped ready to pause the video, but then leaned back because you realized they were about to melt your off was priceless!
The passion that you here is real! Doloris, the original singer of this song was sing zombie while bad wolves backed her. Right before this could happen she passed on. This song is a tribute not a cover song. RIP
Brother J i have never heard of the Bad Wolves either and im 69 years old but i love this version and i think its a wonderful thing that they gave all proceeds to help her children. Who says heavy meatal bands are worthless, God bless them.

Bad Wolves singer recently left the band. He wrote all their songs and took them with him. I am anxious to see what his new endeavors are. The band and especially him are so amazing live, he is the sweetest, kindest human!

I read a comment a while ago that said the Cranberries version was a mothers warning and this cover is dad's anger because moms warning wasn't heard/headed. It hits different when thought of like that.
I loved The Cranberries’ version when it came out in 1994. I was skeptical when I heard that Bad Wolves was going to do a cover. I liked Bad Wolves. I love Tommy Vext’s voice. I was blown away when I heard the song. They did such a good job and paid beautiful tribute to Dolores and The Cranberries. It’s a beautifully haunting song.
I think this cover intensified the original, even. The fact it's able to be made so many years later about different world events with just as much raw pain and power reinforces the message of the song a lot. I'm glad Dolores got to hear it before she passed.

The Bad Wolves tribute paid to Delores in this song with her vision makes it even more emotional. Notice how Delores ghost, writes her date of death 1-15-18 into the mud from the other-side along with her in gold tying back to the Cranberries original video, is epic!
Jamel, thank you for being you ... a lesser person, would not have got the poignancy of this incredible tribute to Delores's contribution to how hateful war is. I think this tribute is a fitting tribute to her and that they're pledging all the royalties to her kids ... what a band of human beings. Many blessings on you man.

One of the guitar players in this band, Doc Coyle, came from a band before Bad Wolves existed called God Forbid, him and his brother both shredded guitar in that metal band. Check out the song "Antihero" by God Forbid, that song rocks!
I never heard of the Bad Wolves but this is a great tribute/cover. It's the same old theme in 2018. So sad but true. Zombie is a song we should be shouting in the streets right now with all the children who died because of their tanks and their guns. What's in their head? Zombies.
This rendition really pays tribute to Dolores in the band's own way sonically, while the video offers a golden echo of Dolores that we can no longer reach in this lifetime. I always thought this was a strong cover.
I still wonder who portrayed Dolores in the video. She really needs credit as well. That scene when her and Tommy put their hands on the glass was powerful.
I'm a Cranberries fan and always will be, but Bad Wolves done a fantastic job here. What is great is when he sings 'What's in your head, Zombie' it's carries much more tone and places accusation and blame on those who blindly follow orders that cause pain and death to others with incredible power.
