I have one of these. out of the box they need work but they can be fixed. #1 a V has two volume controls and one tone not two tone and one volume .. gut the electronics including pickups and upgrade. The original Gibson wiring diagrams can be found on line. # 2 mine had no finish on the neck, I finished mine with automotive clear coat. #3 the frets on mine were horrible, I did a fret level re crowned and polished them. Now its still a inexpensive copy but it's closer to the 67 V ( KK Downing's)?? Badaax was trying to duplicate and it plays well. And yes mine stays in tune.
