Yes Indian culture is very rich...the ancient civilisation that was widespread even across south east asia not just in the indian subcontinent now known as Hinduism and looked upon as a religion is what is wrong. It took many .any battles for people to have a sustainable political identity and none of the south Asians have anything to give back to India..its the credit that so many westeners need to give back to the east. For example as the world starts to recognise Yoga, even that is now being commercialised in America as Power Yoga and Fusion and what not...but what is even more sad is that a lot of Indians too consider this as a way to make good money rather than introducing the authentic one...

U should then definitely check out ajant and ellora temples.. U'll be amazed to see it. The whole temple is made out of a single rock and is carved in vertical way from upward ro downwards.. It is a mystery till date tht how tht temple was built.

I recently visited Badami..On the day 40 jawans were killed in the deadly Pulwama attack.We felt so much pain to hear it on our way.. Somehow as we reached the beautiful Badami caves it seemed lot better..The place has some inexplicable calmness and beauty to it. In front of the Agastya lake close to Booth nath temple is a museum with priceless collection. .People there have the most amazing smile.. There were many other tourists from France,Russia,Israel etc..The stone naturally has a serene poetic beauty to it.. The sculpture is an additional bonus..Closeby are Aihole and Pattadakal also a treat for the eyes.. Just being there gives immense joy also because of the local people s simplicity and joyous nature..Also there is Banashankari devi temple which is a must visit.. would highly recommend it.. Am also from karnataka. .
