mongolian here. we are proud that the HU are representing us around the world. its very interesting to see foreigners react and give their opinion on our native instruments such as the Morin Khuur.

I've been listening to metal for 30+ years, since right around the time Metallica released Master Of Puppets. I go to see bands with my oldest son, he sent me this, because he thought it was epic as well. I absolutely *LOVE* what these guys did, more of a rendition than a cover because they made it in their style, language and traditional instruments and it sounds amazing. Well done, and I can't help thinking that they would do a killer job with *Harvester Of Sorrow* which is already so heavy. Just seems that would work well, HU style 😉🔥 *Bravo, and much respect* 👏🖤🤘🏻

That super cool instrument (I've learned) is a Horse head Fiddle/Morin Khuur. Epic asf 🤘🏻🖤 I will always love Metallica but this is just amazing. I'm glad you called it a rendition because imho, it's not a cover. They made it their way, in their style and traditions and that made it more special. It would be even more awesomeness to hear them do Harvester of Sorrow, The HU style 😉🔥🎻 Bravo guys 💖🤗

Yeah man, I agree with you, this version is definitely better than the original, even though I still love the original. The Hu is certainly a league of their own! So since you're now on board with this band, check out their song Wolf Totem to see how they sound with their own songs. It's amazing :)

If you enjoyed this, you might also want to take a look at some other mongolian folk metal bands like Nine Treasures or Tengger Cavalry. "Black Heart" by Nine Treasures is one of my all-time favorites.
