hey dude! So far I've driven basic Bajas with regular steering and 2 Bajas with the "symmetrical" steering installed. My overall imprression is that symmetrical steering offers a much better turning radius but tends to spin out ALOT in turns, while the basic steering setup has a terrible turning radius but tends to hold a drift well at speeds.

@@hybrid32494 very interesting! The only one I’ve driven is my Baja-Q so I assumed it was the shorter wheelbase causing the spin outs… What is the difference between regular and symmetrical steering?

hey my dude! Thanks for checking out this video. You're right, it's been a couple more tanks since this video and the motor has gotten faster and a proper tune still has not been done for the High Speed Needle!. Going to work on it soon.

50:1 is thin, depending on the purity of the oil. I'm at 20:1.

@@redsmagic4907 I run 32/1 whitout any issue. Maby for the brake in i would go 25/1.

@@Soren_Caique_xD In my country, the circumstances and standards for gasoline and oil are different, so 20:1 seems to work better.

Apparently it has to do with the dual ring pistons create more heat and a single is better for RC engines also exhaust port and unrestricted pipe help for heat dissipation as well as the engine cover directs air over the fins. That's purely my opinion based on engine builders and you tubers but the Brovan 45cc is a nice redesign

Hi Mr Johnson good luck with your next build can't wait to see it. I'm going to get the DTT 7 V2 from 30 d north with the 38cc The 38cc is basically a clone of the Zenoha g320 the ports are the same minus the outlet is bigger on the Z g320 so its very similar to the 32cc just has 5HP Jeff from Eastside RC ran one in his buggy with a Taylor side pipe and it really performed well from pull off to top end and it managed to shred the main gear he is actually getting TMR racing to do some performance mods on it so can't wait to see the test voyage of it. @@dickjohnson3564 Have you seen the Bartelone Racing conversion ? The "Brovan" 45cc Reed case with porting mods etc nice pipe makes for a great drag engine and with the reed case and porting makes for a good race engine that should be quick off the line and still have great mid to top end HP and decent RPM obviously it all varies depending on platform gearing fuel mix and pipe.

Haha. Yes!! Good point. From what I heard the owner has ordered a rear wheelie bar for this Baja, it’s a great idea because these pipes are very exposed in the rear the wheelie bar provides the only useful protection you can get for this chassis.

hey dude! I got your comment about the HPI servo horn parts!! that would be highly appreciated! Anyways Bajas tend to have pretty terrible steering but there is an upgrade many people do which is called "Symmetrical Steering". I've never done it myself, but it makes for a tiger turning radius due to different linkages and linkage setup. This baja has very tight turns while my own non-symmetrical steering baja has a very WIDE turn.

Get the cheapest one it's the best deal. Most of stuff you pay for in those "better" Baja's is useless aluminium parts. And actually much worse engine. Their small 29cc engine is decent. 45cc is useless and slow and overheats like biatch

yes my dude, it sure is. In fact I have an older video on this channel where I tower an entire Christmas tree with only a stock 30CC baja. So trust me, even 30CC is plenty enough. The gas engines got tons of power for towing.

Yes the suspension arms are a NYLON plastic material and that is 100% what you want. They provide some flexibility and will be easy and cheap to replace if needed. Trust me, there is a reaoson why the arms are not aluminum.

Well they are now main fifth scale petrol producer so.... Yes quality could be better but they kinda saved fifth scale... Idk if anybody noticed but nowadays you can get pretty much only rovan, and few other clones companies like 30dnt or km but still, it's mostly rovan. In whole Europe you can get only rovan

So they actually did more good to fifth scale industry than Hpi and łosi combined. It's law of market. They were overpriced and lost market to better priced and well distributed rovan. And if you ask me it's good thing. They were too greedy. I like hpi but not in fifth scale, parts and car prices were out of this world

Considering hpi lost fifth scale market looong time ago not sure how's that's possible 😂 Clones all the way! Away with corporate greed of "originals"! Most people would never get into fifth scale if there was only hpi and łosi, because of it's winded prices. That includes me and today I own both baja and 5ive clones and no.regrets
