I own 4 bajas! NOW, 1- Enlarge the gas cap air breather hole inside and out, it's a pinhole now and will lean out engine badly, fried engine. 2- Put any kind of metal screen around engine fan intake to stop it clogging cylinder head with grass or you will fy the engine. 3- Your stock "wiper arm" steering linkage will soon wear out, upgrade to the "pull-pull" setup soon. How do I know how important these mods are? Again, I own 4 of them, been there, done that! The 36 will last forever if not run lean. And if you ever DO want rediculous power, put the Rovan 45cc in it, even with taller gearing it'll wheelie the entire way across the field!! I have 2 like that, freaking amazing!
Great vid man and that baja is sick , theres alot of upgradedable parts online and diff body shells roll cages and conversion kit from buggy to truck/ Volkswagen body or change it into onroad car if down the road you want to give it a different look ........i gotten the same one but from king motor rc about 2 yrs ago and it still runs like a beast to this day
I have a couple of FG Marders myself one is fully custom all alloy parts and hydraulic breaks I also have a 36cc full Mod engine init it has silly power but I love it and one of my other ones has a obr engine in it I have more than 15 1/5 scales Rc’s I love them especially my Losi 5IVE-T well all three my Losi 5IVE-T. I just got obsessed with Rc’s from the age of 18 lol and never sold any of them. Always love watching Rc’s on RU-vid 😊
I have 3 of these got 2 send hand for $120 rebuilt one full restore looks and goes mint, other is parts car but only needs a clean up and a few things, other was brand new run one time and they bent the front frame up so new frame and a detail and it looks as new as your one out the box run it in the grass in my yard one time, got my xmaxx I tent to run the most out of 30 rc vehicles
So cool man, i Hope we will see you make more videos with that beauty there,, I just got my Rovan Baja 5b 29cc done, i have a ddm v1 exhaust on it and 19t 55t spur on, now i just need to do the Break-in,
I bought one from someone that had problems with that motor. Ripped it out and did the electric conversion. Much better on electric imo. But good luck and have fun sir
Where did you buy this from? I was looking on aliexpress and saw this, but that exhaust on the 32cc seemed to be in a bad position. I'd be worried about smacking and bending it if I did a little jump and landed on the rear
The springs inside the clutch are too heavy, it's making it engage at way too high rpm. Softer/weaker springs will let it engage at a lower rpm giving it a better low end movement.
And if you were my neighbor, I'd tell you to go F yourself and have you Red Flagged. My neighbors know what I do and they love me Also, you have absolutely no idea what time it is in this vid. Thanks👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾
Why would they give that radio and uses 8aa's iv been waiting to buy that buggy now over 4yrs and now in Canada we can't buy Nitro fuel you beleave it son of a you know what so that being said that's real gas and I think this yr I'm going to buy that buggy Finally my neighbours are not going to like that one that's for sure lol
@@RCAddictsGarage you’ll find out buddy. It’s affordable for a reason,it’s straight up slow and heavy crap. I had one. Yours ain’t even the good version. 0-165 kph in 1.2 seconds ill take my drone any day
@@keldonator no being limited by line of sight controlling a slow buggy is boring. Flying with a range of 10km doing acrobatics at 160 kph all while viewing through a high def headset. Not to mention its numerous add ons for multiple applications /fishing line drops/ thermal and night vision. And you don’t get the awesome mind bending sensation of flying in FPV.
@@jblizzard5577 I mean to each their own, it definitely sounds boring to me. I never use my drone, does too much for you, only good for video and pictures.
Nice ride bud. A remote Kill switch will give you an extra sense of security of ever needed. Ive got the 30 degree north ddt7 and a losi t5 still on back order. Have parts to go electric conversion but man I do enjoy and miss the sound of old school power. Might just keep them gas and my Mojave 6s to keep the neighbors from calling cops on me for noise lol
I’m brand new to the Rcflightsim trucks. I have experience flying airplanes since the 80’s, and am currently flying helicopters which I still love because of the challenge to your skills and focus. What I remember from building the planes is that our receivers had to be stationary and cushioned against vibrations and shock, especially the helicopters! The receiver on my new LOSI DBXL 2.0 Gas, 32cc Zenoah Engine. I looked at the receiver and noticed it wasn’t cushioned and the antenna is simply stuffed into a plastic box! I am soon going to cushion my receiver with foam padding and make a tiny hole for a flexible plastic tube to go through with the antenna cable inside. I feel this will help the problem with range, reception, and maybe even a runaway truck? When I build airplanes, I always make sure the transmitter can talk with the receiver, and the receiver doesn’t suffer from too many shocks or vibrations.
Not correct I have 12 r cs I'm a brother. I have brother s down south with plenty rcs. I would love to put. My converted savage to electric xl against that ride u have let's race where u at I'm from va
That cheese and thumbs up after he fired that bad boy up, LMAO. I love this man, i have to get one. After some research, i came to the conclusion that these beasts require less maintenance than my LIpos powered 5th scales. The diff/ drive train maintenance is beyond annoying, however, with these, it's rear wheel drive. I could be mistaken though.
Nice rig dude, I've got a new rovan as1 36cc, I've yet to drive it, it looks a bit intimidating lol. Am I right in thinking when you turn off the transmitter it acts like a fail safe and cuts off the engine and slams on the brakes?
Id recommend amsoil dominater or saber 2 cycle get a no spill can and ratio right cup go over everything nut bolt and screw id put it on a stand run it stupud Rich for your first few tanks or gallon it will burn threw it 5 minutes first few times let it cool down then 10 minutes two times after that each time letting it cool down have some extra plugs
After the ChinaLosi 1/5 that understeered like crazy, I wont touch another 1/5 scale unless it's 4x4, AND a full disassembly and check before the very first run. If their supplied fuel jug leaks like that while mixing, then take that whole model apart down to the last nut and bolt, before the first run. Complete disassembly, to make sure they assembled it right with loctite, ect. Motors, servos, ect,, all of it. That's kinda standard practice for the knowing who buy import RTR these days, especially with the lackluster build quality of the RTR's now. It's really cool to see it all assembled in the box ready to go, but don't fall for the Glam,, tear it down for a complete check BEFORE the very first run. 50 years of running Nitro and Gas.
Dude. You needed to be going faster during first tank. While it’s important not to overload it you need to be going fast enough for the air to cool engine. Best done without body aswell.
