Lmao about the extra weight you packed in on Mountain Dew. Haha. If you're camping its nice to have a bit extra with the things you enjoy. Loved the campfire and those views the next morning. What an awesome camp spot you chose!

Gorgeous view! Have you ever thought about hitting the Croatan National Forest? If you do, I know a few spots to camp at. I had a blast the weekend I went ro the Uwharri. Had an old friend randomly message me and he ended up going with me and his son came too. Was a good weekend.

In 8 years when my youngest graduates school Momma Bear and I are selling our home and traveling the country to hit all the National Forest. Croatian National Forest is about 5.5 hour drive for me but would love to visit it sometime in future
