Appreciate it lol sucked that the mic wasn’t connected because it was an absolutely amazing ride. Ended up being mud and water got into the connector to the insta 360 and the connection was lost to the mic. Got a new connector on order and it’ll be getting wrapped in good ol duct tape lol 😂

Ended up being the connector from mic to camera just wasn’t very well sealed up and water fried it. Got a new one on order and it will be getting wrapped in duct tape lol 😂

Bummer about the mic what setup are you using for it. Still looked like a killer ride. I have had some mic issues here and there and was unable to catch it till the video was over. You could some overlay next time if it happens even just talking about the ride with the music in the back ground would be cool.

Yeah when editing the footage I had that thought which is when I discovered it was the connector for the mic had gotten mud and water inside of it. Thought it was water resistant to an extent being an action camera adapter but I was wrong lol 😂

@@JacksonOffroad25are you running the large media mic mod setup? I run the older one and ziptie it to my mount its held up great and with racing is nasty conditions it also ends up being a touch smaller vs the media mic mod

@@ononewheel7 I run an insta360 One RS for my camera at the moment and a DJI Mic setup. Single wire into an adapter and mic itself is wireless so I can use it in more versatile ways

The badlands has never disappointed me. Great place to hit if you have the opportunity. I know you’re out in the Arizona area if I’m recalling correctly so a heck of a trip but could be a decent stop if you ever decide to come this way
