Hi coach, I'm a new coach from Peru 🇵🇪 and I fascinated how simple is your explanation, it is helping me a lot. I'm a physical education teacher in a national primary school and also teaching badminton. Best regards
Nice to meet you! Teaching your kids badminton... that's great. Children automatically find good posture. Watching it is an amazing experience. If I have a chance someday, I would like to visit your school. It won't be a problem even if you don't speak. :-)
Hi Coach, I am a mid-beginner. I will like to understand when u single out the "Pull" during a hit, do you mean a pronation ending where you "cover" the shuttle quickly? Hope you get my question.
Another great tips from Coach Hans 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼 been struggling with overhead smash compared to my backhand smash/ clear. Great Video Guys!!! GWS Coach Hans ❤️🩹
aloha coach han, another awesome lesson. proper technique is the key to preventing injury. bravo for your emphasis on this commonly overlooked aspect of the overhead swing. take care.
Professional players' lives are short. They have to get results in a short period of time and are not afraid of injuries. They won't give up the gold medal in front of them, even if they have a sore spot. However, the ideal posture and technique for amateurs are different from those of professionals. If you admit that fact and find the fun that suits you, you will become a better badminton player.
If you could skip the steps from the beginning, you wouldn't have to break them down. Every sport starts with having fun. Watch the video and don't try to build a foundation from zero base. Have fun as much as you can, and if you want to improve, then self-diagnose yourself. it's not study it's play After all, if I only give you basic training, you're not going to do it, do you? :-)
I already can do full swing on Lob, smash can wait until it's lowered down then hit. It's just on smashing hard to maintain consistency. Overhead still not consistent, but block net is sharp down..
No one can grow all at once. Take your time and do it slowly. If you do that, you will be able to see yourself better before you know it. Don't compare yourself with others, just become a better you than you were yesterday.
Don't think of clear, smash, and drop shots as different swings. They all happen on the same overhead swing. Don't even think about learning them separately.
very nice~ It is good to understand theoretically, but the best way to learn is to learn visually. You will improve your skills by frequently comparing yourself to your figure and correcting your posture.
