This interview was so honest and fun. Badshah is so sweet..❤️ N brutally honest👌. Atleast he doesn't fake what he is. Haters need to get a life.. N stop commenting negative purposely. Anupama does amazing Interviews. 👌
Pooja Karle i agree.. All negative comments r people who follow honey singh.. They have no work in their life.. No one shuld get such followers.. Even honey singh got mentally ill 😂😂😂😂
seriously ? She is being extremely sarcastic ? I am loving how she is trying to break down his lyrics , lol. and he is actually trying to explain . But seems like he is just a kid at heart !
40saal k budha ye kid kaha s hi gaya... Apni beti ko hi objectify karega ye... Chhoti chhoti skirt pehn k nikelti badshah k beti.. Gali mohalle k chhichhore chhedte use voh ho jaati kiki kiki...
He has the confidence because he is in the top right now. N all his songs r hit...so he never had chance of getting poor marks...!! Haters gonna hate . #LOVEBADSHAH....BADSHAH IS Ruling Bollywood no matter what ppl say.
Lot of hate comments but people don't realise that he is just a simple guy who left engineering to chase his passion and became successful.May be he has a different taste in music and may be that's the reason he became famous and rich as well.
Thats a different issue. He can be a dreamer who followed his passion, but what I find most disconcerting is his lyrics which essentially talks about women as sex objects, coated with some reverence here and there and nothing else.
This interview is basically my life as an NRI from America. Anupama m’am is my family in india and badshah is me explaining myself to them. “I’m mature I swear I just sleep in”
Whatever said and done, his music is soul to many ears (some to mine) and his proud Punjabi personality is something to be admired. Shoes, sleep and sound businesses!! Can’t wait to hear 17 more ear rigging songs!
His Lyrics are like ki ap kisi bhi generation Ko ho u can listen them.. he has changed the generation gap.. !!!😉 Your my favourite rapper Badshah bhai...!!!!😊
Anupama madam... I love your interviews not because you get the biggest stars but also because you promote the lesser known artists. Could you please interview Joi Barua? He has given music for Imtiaz Ali's Laila-Majnu and the song O Meri Laila is just amazing
some one it's ok bro. Mai bhi kuch khas mainstream rap nhi sunta bas kabhi kabhi bohemia nhi to waise mai honey ke music ka fan hu coz he knows about music and uski music better h compared to badshah.
Hello ma'am, a follower here! I really look forward to every single interview that you upload. As far as your foray into music celebs is considered, I would kindly suggest you bring in different Mumbai rappers too. Granted they are yet to hit big in the bollywood scene, but genuine hip hop fans from India would love to see guys like Naezy, Divine etc sitting in that chair and not some mediocre wannabe cool guy who spits basic bars with hollow lyrics(and definitely NOT TWICE!!) Hope you take the suggestion into consideration. Cheers!
Shit, he's so likeable!!!! This is the first interview I'm watching of his and had no idea about his personality. Gosh, I'm a true TRUE fan now!!!! Btw I f**n ❤️ his songs!
It's amazing to see him being so emotional for the crap he created. What a heart behind his lyrics! I wanna cry. Its funny to watch Ms. Anupama (flag bearer of Anti-misogyny movement) ask him to explain his lyrics.
A man called ARR says he doesn't own his music and says it comes from elsewhere, may be god. And a guy called badshah makes music about his greatness. Pure ghanta!
The lyrics and rap by Badshah in that Buzz song are so derogatory and misogynist... And you are calling it 'earthy' instead of cheap? Why are you interviewing him Anupama???
10:56 he spoke the truth. He doesn’t like clicking pictures at all. But instead of simply saying no he lets the people wait for very long. Personally I had a bad experience with him and infact I have stopped clicking pictures with any celebrity after meeting him. He’s a lot arrogant than this interview.
In the Night, People Dance to Kala Chashma, Dj Wale Babu, Tere Naal Nachna, Tareefan, Buzz, Move Your Lakk, Kar Gayi Chull and many others... And During the Day They become Intellectuals and start judging the lyrics... WTF! Hyporcrites...
Why so many hate comments? He has achieved far more in life than these shitty people commenting who dont have any job ..!! These ignorant people should put some time and have a look at his journey...how much hard work he has done. He was deceived by Honey singh in such a ruthless way...Badshah's parents cried becozof honey singh. Honey just used him for his fame..!! Still he made his identity in the industry n gave some great Party anthems of India. His lyrics r meant to be like that..!! He has also given some great music as a music director& lyricist. Before commenting any troll or negative about someone...Learn to be conscious about the things they might have gone through. WE LOVE U BADSHAH #BADSHAH
Nice..Finally someone who can understand him. People should watch his other interviews where he tells his story, its so inspirational. especially his punjabi interviews. BADSHAH IS KING OF BOLLYWOOD>> its time for ppl to accept it
All I need is that film companion mug wid a shot of espresso and the badshah's tracks to play This is called a real medicine to cope up wid ur problems... isn't it better than to depend upon medicines...#randomthought
He has talent which is why people love him and his songs. We don't see any offence in his songs it's all fun and entertainment. Love his SWAG and every song
Aritra Das Objectifying women? So talking of a woman in a sexual manner is objectifying them? You do know that women too are sexual creatures just like us. And if you were ever close with a woman you'd know that they "objectify" men just as much.
You gave opposing views by the way. First you denied that he objectifies them, then you said, ; so what? even women do that.' Please make sense when you say stuff.
Aritra Das I don't really think you get the concept of quoting. The word objectify was in quotes the second time around was because of irony's sake. Otherwise why would I put it in quotes? Are you actually dumb or just pretending to be?
Aritra Das Take it easy with that gender studies course. That's all I can say. An artist or any individual has every right to utter anything he/she likes. If you don't like that and want women to be some mythical creatures who are only praised then go to the middle east. No objectification there.
If thats what you took from it, I have nothing to say to you. Really. I feel very strongly about these issues, and I'd not stop voicing my opinions, even though its super duper futile. Im not deluded, and Im not on a rampage to change the world, but I have to put it out there, hoping someday Baadshah notices this and changes his ways. Yes he has a lot of right over his choice of words, but then, so do I.
Ewwwww Badshah Ewwww! His last interview was so humble and inspiring! I dont know what happened in between. I feel he is a better human being inside, he is just trying to be someone else in this interview.
honey singh tried to come up on diljit and badshah's talent, used them and than brought himself on front. look now, he's nowhere to be seen and both these guys r rocking. diljit's singing, honey singh's music and badshah's rap, combo was rocking
Thank u so much my sister you are giving respect to the Punjabi and Punjab artist thank you once again and God bless you waheguru bless you and your family
Hahahahahaha. This is laugh out loud funny. So what's more cringing than Badshah lyrics? Well Badshah defending them as progressive and women empowering. My cheeks laughed so hard they fell off my face. I don't mean to attack Badshah or anyone else. I mean the fact that he is one of the biggest rap artists in the country reflects our mindset as a country; that we are such a racist, sexist, power hungry people. His songs are REGRESSIVE. They reek of misogyny, sexism, racism, body shaming, women objetifying and a crazy obsession and celebration of power. But he is so nice. He smiles sheepishly. He even comes across so innocent in this interview. Awww. Heartgasms. See he is so concerned that he has even wrote songs to empower women. For instance he likes "thick" girls. So it's cool to be one. Because Badshah has approved it bhai. Wow. And he thinks women with "rang saawla" are like a hot trending topic. Thick and dark skinned women have been waiting for Badshah to come along and save them. Because hey women are not worthy till they have validation from men you see. Fun fact; Badshah was so moved by the status of dark skinned women and their struggle in a color crazy country like ours that he actually spent all of 3 seconds to use the word Saawra in his song Chull. So touching. Sniff. Sniff. Pass me on the tissue please. You compare a girl to ginger ale, to fur, her figure to a frigging pendulum and you dare claim you don't objectify women? Let me spell out to you, you compared WOMEN TO a PENDULUM, ALE, FUR- these are OBJECTS!!! Music, movies, art, comedy, these are things that normalize social vices. We make songs on them, we make jokes on them, we have fun around them and we normalize them. It might sound cool in a Badshah song when he invites a girl in his car; "Gaadi mein baith ja baby scene bhi bana lenge ". In reality it plays out as a nightmare for girls as they are mercilessly raped in our country every goddamn hour. You know why because songs like these give confidence to men to sing these lines to women on the roads, in exactly as tharki a tone as in the song. The songs give them the audacity to pull a girl in their cars and plan "their scene". This is what you call adding to the rape culture. Rape culture. Culture. Yes. We prepare an environment for all atrocities against women with these Badshah Songs and Salman Khan movies, music and movies that are a part of any culture. Misogyny doesn't flourish in vacuum. It can't. We as a country as artists as consumers make this Rape culture by applauding lyrics like Garam Mamla and dialogues like Pyar se Rakh Lo Nahi toh Thappad maar ke Denge. Badshah Songs are about power too and how conveniently it can be misused and abused. Police ki tension mat le, minister apna Bhai hain. Yaar tera ka fan minsiter baitha hain power main. Songs like these help flourish the Manu Sharmas of the world. They exist anyway, they abuse their powerful status anyway. But songs like these play on their psychology and empower them enough that they can kill a Jessica Lal for not serving him a drink. A life taken over a goddamn drink. And dare you if you argue with me saying Badshah didn't even exist at that time. Badshah might not be a sexist. He doesn't seem like one. He seems respectful to women as he claims but his songs don't reflect that. He compares himself to a journalist, showing the soceity as it exists? Hahahaha. Gosh. Unless he was comparing himself to an Arnab Goswami. When was the last time you saw a journalist glorifying a rape scene or acts of terrorism on TV? Reporting the reality my foot!! Badshah should know better, that there is a direct connection between what he writes to what happens in reality. That his superhit songs lead to women being raped and molested. That it creates unnecessary ideas of beauty for them. And he is nobody to popularize thick or thin women. Because it doesn't have to come from men. But more than Badshah, We as a fucking country should have known better. I mean look at our role models: Salman as the biggest movie star, kapil Sharma as the biggest comedian, Arab as the biggest prime time news journalist and Badshah as the biggest singer...And let me not even touch politics here. Phew.
i came to this video to see how he made such good songs. but then i saw his attitude, this pride and such repulsive character. gosh. now i know how much respect i have for Bohemia.
At least now these so called elite class of Bollywood barrier is breaking. Talent is compelling these interviewers to change their process and their guest. Or may be it just a promotion stategy.
