as somebody that has done the s10 swap works amazing... tuck is amazing via spacers and the rim you run.. but i promise you you will feel like you lost your soul... the age of the truck and the respect it demands you will want to go back stock frame..... i did the s10 short cab long box works amazing but that feeling... got og frame and did the mustang 2 mm
I like the s10 frame on mine the original frame was ate up with rust. I got rid of the spacers on the rear and went with a wider rearend and 3 link I actually bought 2 more trucks and I’m going to build another using the stock frame and see how that goes.
Was what I had now it's completely different and there's nothing really to see they needed to be telling people when they paid to get in the damn list is not there prices it's also frustrating I have work I want you to understand I work for months trying to get this work out where the fans did not suffer and those people refused to even speak to me I went there
I'm also building a 1948, using a S10 chassis with the Coffee N Customs kit... how did you beef up your rear corners for mounts? You have any pictures of that? Killer build, it looks great!
What radiator did you end up going with? I'm using the original 98 s10 radiator, and it is way too wide, making the hood not fit. And how did you wire up the headlights and tailights? Thanks!
HELLO TRYING TO BUY A 55 WITH A S-10 SWAP NOT SURE WHAT I AM LOOKING AT WITH THE FRAME PICS LOOKS WRONG DO YOU HAVE A EMAIL I CAN SEND A COUPLE PHOTOS PLEASE HELP? OR ANYONE WITH FRAME EXPERIENCE...
You can use the short bed s10 but you’ll have to extend the frame. The best one to use without having to extend or shorten the frame is the single cab lwb s10
Austin Heft it actually doesn’t wheel hop with the shocks I have on it. But I’m in the process of putting thorbros 3 link on it and rewriting the engine harness putting everything under the dash
Is that what it is. Stupidity?? Why don’t you mind your own business no one asked for your input. I’m my own person and can do whatever the hell I want to my own vehicle. If it wasn’t for me this 1948 truck would still be sitting and rotting more. Thanks to people like me we bring them back life the way we want to….
