Been waiting for this last episode. Seen the truck at multiple shows now and always drawn straight to it. No matter how many times u see it there another little detail you pick up on. Best thing Nissan never made one as it wouldn’t have been this good. We’ll done everyone involved.

Theres a retired Boeing engineer in Scottsdale AZ who just finished a 2022 new body Frontier, lowered, widebody treatment, with GTR swap, a modern take on mini truck/speed truck build! Saw it 2 weeks ago when my wife and I took our 34, 33, 32, and s15 to a car show with 2 of our kids. I grew up with gtrs in japan, aus, and nz, so I am always looking at nissans and other jdm mfrs hahaha. His work is amazing! Hand built, he designs, machines, forms, fabricates like its second nature! He rarely brings special builds to cars and coffee, he usually drives a miata, with a k28 swap, custom shaped and formed porschesque body on miata, custom made hardtop, has more interior head room. He also has a a 2020 tacoma ext cab, lowered, stroked 3.5L 2jz swap looks like a modern Xrunner variant, that he takes to the shows, he looks for folks who actually build their own cars, and invites them back to his workshop! Hes building a K50 based off honda K motors for his custom NSX inspired build, using a factory five racing kit car as a base. Love seeing builds like these! My son an engineer as well, is wrapping up a Subaru STI powered awd classic VW bug hahaha, hopefully done in time for SEMA auto show! Forwarding this video to him!

That is one bad ass truck. I have allways said that if your going to have a big engine then you really need a big vehicle, like a van, SUV or full size car like a XJ.

cant recommend funk products enough... only used it on a lowly 86, BUT.. hasnt done a starter from heat since and chassis leg is well protected from the dreaded heat failure.. awesome stuff, and there more than happy to chat in messenger to help you out, my package was damaged on delivery.. but the product inside was perfect.. strong stuff... messaged the guys, wasnt a problem if needed they were ready to replace...
