Great Question, Austin Engraving Solutions, and I imagine that there are different opinions on this! An electric chanter Gives your breathing a break, But then you’re not working on your breathing, which is quite important if your planning to get on the full set of pipes eventually. Electric chanters can be very unforgiving for their crossing noises, which can be frustrating for beginners. On the other hand, they Have different sounds which can be really fun, and you can play With earphones in which can give people around you a break 😉 In my opinion, I see that electric chanter has a supplementary addition, but not a substitution for the traditional breath blown chanter. Great Question Marcel! I’m not sure that I’m the best one to answer it, because I don’t have a B-flat center. My initial thought would be that yes you would use the same notes and fingering. Maybe someone else who knows when I’ll see this comment and let us both know the answer:)

Fingerings same , think guitar and capo or tin whistles in different keys ...
