Omg loved this topic!! The LV craze in 2017/2018 were insane. How everyone scrambled for the SLGs and the psm! But I also think it’s mainly bc back then the price point was so much more “reasonable.”

Dani your hair looks beautiful. I love the color and the style. Oh wow!! I really love the PM dupe that Dress up your bag is coming out with. The Speedy 20 in the Damier Ebene is such a great one to get. Of course you've seen my video on my new Speedy 20 in the Dune collection.I so love this one. Just so eye catching. I love it. Oh yes I have 3 Mini Pochette and so happy I have them. Mine are limited edition pieces. I agree that the Multi Pochette being a great bag. I love mine but have not worn it in a while. I wear it different ways. This was a great video to watching. I was definitely caught up in the trend. I purchased every single piece you talked about.

I think the main thing is to not just buy cos of FOMO and cos it’s hard to get. If you’re certain that it’s worth it for you, then go for it❤️

This was such a great video! I think it’s soooo easy to get caught up in the hype - even just a few months ago I almost kept the Alaia heart bag because it kept selling out and I was worried that I may not be able to buy it later on, even though it was very clear that it’s too small for my needs 😭 Now I see the fact that they’re sold out as a blessing, as it gives me time to think if I even actually like the bag 🙈

That is a blessing indeed then, Laine! The money can always go to something else you really love. The thing about that Alaia heart bag, I am almost positive it’s not new. I remember seeing it years ago when I was researching Valentine’s Day bags. I never made the video, so I can’t confirm it but if my memory serves me correctly, it has been around for a while?? Unless this one was special in some way?

Very interesting topic! There's always a lot of hype around LV, so it's good to take a step back and try not to FOMO purchase. Having said that, LV doesn't get any cheaper, if you really love something, you might as well jump on it a.s.a.p. 🤭

I feel like we won't really know if we like a bag until we own it and use it. So far, palmspring mini is my favourite travel bag crossbody! And I also got metis but this one didn't work out for me. Key cleu too... Its like the whole world loved it but I just can't love it haha..

That’s really true. So many things feel different in store compared to when we test them out in our real life. Everyone who has the Palm Springs mini seem to love it. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get it ❤️

Hi Dani! ❤. The only bag I wanted that I couldn’t get at the time was the Pochette Métis reverse. I bought the monogram clés in 2004 when it was in 2004 for under $100, but I did end up selling it and the damier Ebene because I added that at one time to use with Ebene bags. I kept the Azur. I don’t like to buy because things are trendy, I only buy things I really love and want to keep. LV and other luxury brands often create artificial scarcity to hype up demand. Don’t fall for it!

You are too experienced for any of these brands to trick, Dawn🙌 correct me if I’m wrong but 2004 would have been the time when LV really pushed the scarcity mindset, limiting pieces. Now I’m not sure if things are easy to get cos they overpriced themselves or they are making more stock😅❤️

@@DaniOchannel Back then you could get anything you wanted in monogram or Ebene. The Murakami collection was hard to get, and pieces did sell out when it was released. I grew with you, it’s hard to know if they upped production or if people are staying away because they’ve out priced themselves.

Toiletry Pouch 26 & Key Cles in Classic Monogram. So glad i got them coz here in Manila Key Cles in Monogram is really hard to get. When my CA surprised me i said YES please. Love these 2 LV SLGs of mine 🫶🏼🙋🏼‍♂️
