Great video and loved they way he described the Sea Ray 650 flybridge. I've been interested in the same model and now getting this young man's perspective was awesome.
You always need to remember that not all boats can take pounding like that and not start coming apart or showing stress cracks. Sometimes you need to back off the the throttle unless you want to damage your vessel.
The Sea Ray L 650 is one of the most beautiful yachts ever made. It's solid build quality and inspired design whoops the pants off even the finest European brands.
The boat you rode in is the L590. This is supported by the fact in the begging of the video you show the swim deck with a red jet ski and an American flag. At the end of the video, right before he says it's time to tour, you can see the host he rode on because his shoulder on the far right side bottom screen. Different boats and would have been nice to let us know. But good content.
pvp64 Thanks! So the Azimut has PODS on them, if you are not familiar look up how they work. But basically long story short, the yacht hit something in the Channel and popped both the middle and port side off!
@@smokendt you are correct. If PODS were junk you would not see them on so many new builds across all manufacturers. I have them on my 42 flybridge cruiser and absolutely love them. Straight shafts will always have there place in the market, but the PODS offer so many advantages.
