I want to plan a Birthday trip for my niece and her girlfriends who are around 21. Do you think this is a place they would enjoy or would they be boring.
@@CBROOKLYN63I domt think they would be bored they are near many lagoons where there are rentals and expeditions to see turtles and xarect and xplor are amazing the rooms offer a lot of space and it’s very diverse with nature and there are shows, party’s, and 2 other resorts that you can just enter and use because they are very close and same company so you can get a ride there on carts and buffet food is good and also some snack bars if you miss the buffet or one of the a la cart and there is a lot of other stuff to do like expeditions to some famous ruins and even towns in tulum and the beach is amazing at certain times of the year but right now since there is a seaweed epidemic it’s not the best it could be there is also snorkeling and gyms as well as private adult pools and there is many shops and space in the lobby’s if the 3 resorts you can enter in the other 2 resorts you can’t use the a la carte, buffet since they need bands for those but the pool and all the bars and shows are open to visitors from one of the resorts, many people to meet and clubs in Playa del Carmen if they will travel there as it’s not very far and there is a lot to offer there to like more party and club areas
looking to go here or the coba! would you say its worth the extra money, i know coba isn't by the beach but is their anything that stands out tulum to the coba?
We have stayed at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum 4 times and are axioms to go back this October to see all the changes...and to see if any of the people we met over the years are still working there. Counting the Sleeps.
i thought if you stayed at tulum you can have access to their buffet and restaurants? contemplating coming here or the coba, but this place is obviously more expensive, is it worth it?
@@dalegendkila when you get there ask for an upgrade, either you’ll get it for free or you get charged for 100$ not sure about ocean view tho but rooms are usually in a good spot already either near beach or the pool, also good tip is book a reservation at the restaurants that’s included in the resort
Been to the Akumal and IIRC you can use all the facilities including restaurants over the whole complex, though to be fair the main buffet style restaurants on all 4 sites are probably going to the same food choices.
Looking to either stay here or coba, going with 4yr and 18 month old. tulum is £500 more would anyone say it’s worth paying that much more or just stay at coba
Everything food drinks 247 snacks minny bar stocked every day they clean your room my only suggestion is please tip the staff it was completely lacking by almost everyone and trust me what is a little for us goes along way you get special reserved tables with fresh flowers it's amazing can not rave enough about this place
@@graysoncadman5171 Agree and may I add, tipping is expected not suggested. Otherwise you are leaving people hungry. I know it’s unfair and the cost should include it but that’s how it works. A system designed so that employees never stop sucking up to guests
