I love how 8 months ago you said you didn’t like country and now you are realizing how many great new artists there are. I used to cringe at country and now it’s one of my main genres. Enjoying the channel!

Your ear for a Nickelback sound isn’t wrong here. Bailey said during a TikTok live about a year ago that his three biggest musical influences were Cody Johnson, Nickelback, and someone else I can’t remember of the top of my head. Also the crazy story about him is that he didn’t know he could sing a little more than a year ago. He was at the park with some friends and a buddy had a guitar and Bailey tried to sing a Luke Combs song and everyone there told him he could sing. He went home and made a TikTok and the rest is history. He’s a rising star in country for sure.

Nickelback is an awesome band. All those types are still fantastic and that’s what is coming back, that type of music with a twist. 3 Doors Down, Breaking Benjamin, Seething, Foo Fighters, life house, puddle of mudd, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, the list goes on and on- all great bands.

Love the raspiness to his voice. I took him to say that he was in love, she left him and he finds out she's pretending to be great and haha she's getting what she deserves for leaving him. I love Bailey Zimmerman and this song specifically! Surprised you checked out the acoustic version. It’s a great version and shows off his voice more but it doesn’t have have the same scornful energy and rock influence the regular version has. Definitely Rock and a Hard Place is the next one by Bailey to check out. Great songwriting on that one!
