That is a killer rig! Maybe on an 8’ for running up and down the beach? I have a Teremar inshore 8’ spinning. More of a budget rod and wish I could get it in casting! Great stuff as always, Capt!

Outstanding. Love all my Baitcasting gear. Throwing big lures on Spinning gear beats the hell out of my Line Holding Finger as the rod loads up on the cast. But, Spinning gear is great for casting long distances. Darn Tradeoffs! Be well & Thank You.

I use my thumb a little when necessary just to add a little extra control the beauty of a baitcaster

Reason why I went with lexa 300 and 400. I have 22 and 26lbs of drag

@@216edwin both of the "tw" models have a line guide that tucks down when casting which allows the line to come off the reel more freely as compared to the "hd" model. I dont have Direct experience with the prorex tho.
