For the one's who have doubt in pricing of both these bikes, RE ka build quality is better and resell bhi zyada hai. Therefore pricing is almost the same. But agar aapko features zyada pasand hai and modern looks bhi chahiye then Dominar is a better option. But mark my word, 'speed is not everything'. Agar aapko badiya thump chahiye yaa feel chahiye then RE is a better option. Make ur decision wisely. Both bikes are good in their own ways.

I’m 5 foot 8 and 65 kilos will it suit me?? What about fuel ⛽️ indicator issues doesn’t work sometimes shows three points even there is no petrol and hell of vibrations, coming to neutral is hard while gear shifting, no proper braking for front tyre, and costs 2 lacs approximately?? Is cbz xterme 200 R better than RE??

Here in the comment section majority of people suggests Dominar. But when I take my eyes from online media to roads of reality, I can see only Royal enfield and no Dominar Why?

Good review. Sad part of RE is thy compare own engines with old bullet & feel thy hv done gr8 job. On the other hand Bajaj dominar is compared with RE set of bikes & bajaj feels thy hv done gr8 job. RE needs to now do hardware (engine, brakes)....

Dominar comes in the price of Thundirbird 350, and performance is comparable/better than 500. RE doesn't have liquid/oil cooling, ABS, radial tyres, fuel injection. I don't know why RE is so expensive.

You cannot always say that a bike is better just by the features. It should connect with the rider. I was also confused with both but took test rides of both and got the feel of true riding with the Thunderbird 500. Dominar is fast but I felt like riding pulsar and got no special feel, just like a commuter. Please don't just rely on videos. Go and ride both and find it for yourself.

Thanks for very honest review.. some guys thinks that RE will give good resale value after years thats true till date but in coming 1-2 years RE resale value will be treated like other bikes bcoz of new generation bike with good features etc. RE is selling bikes by name only but in reality it doesn't worth that much amount.

Of course Dominar 400....the name suits the bike it can dominate the Cruiser section...

The criticism in online media against RE reminds me about the online negetivity against the Maruti. Against any odds RE's sales remains rocky solid just like Maruti sales. They remain light years ahead in sales against their competitors despite deluge of criticism.

Royal enfield is a cruiser which has obviously higher torque figure compared to power. where as in dominar its balanced to get involved in both segments. i have test rode a dominar and a RE classic 500 and iam happy when i was riding an RE because of the riding feel and sound and the engine response it gave where as in dominar it always grunts as it needs to be held in higher rpm with that single cylinder and it was getting to my nerve. i am sure that dominar is a value for money heavily equipped bike, but for a biker i think there are a lot of things which cannot be described in figures but only when he rides a bike which can touch his soul. There will be many upcoming bikes which will make us forget about dominars and such bikes but RE is something different, im sure that it will stand strong no matter what their engine specs are or the technology they never adapted. its a bundle of joy.Im not a fan of RE untill i rode one. I was confused and rode KTM, dominar, fz250, classic 500,350 to make my choice and i have booked a classic 500. Peace

I agree Dominar being better than ReX But, What about the ride Quality? Only Riders can get What I'm trying to say, there is no where mentioned in the whole video about the Ride quality which actually matters for a real touring rider. Stop doing paid promotion please and atleast show the whole truth, instead of just declaring on basis of half knowledge. Authenticity of the words : Talk to anyone who has Ridden a dominor as well as any RE.

Choosing a bike entirely depends on what is your purpose. If someone is looking for reliable and safety rich bike for long rides and touring, dominar is good option. If you are a city boy, looking to show off a bit and want to get attention go for RE bikes. RE is good. I don't understand why their team is not working on engine refinement and other safety features. They can always retain classic look of the bike while adding lot of improvements. May be because they never had time to think about it coz their demand > production. So why to bother changing.

Heard that Dominar non abs version discontinued!!! If the sales are in the way it does now mostly Dominar ABS version also will be discontinued. Whereas in the case of RE they are same since 1901 and till now not discontinued any version.

In Looks Thunderbird X is Much awesome as Compared to Dominar , I mean Just look at It... it’s A Pure Essence Of Modern Motorcycle with a old Feel & Legacy And That’ll Always Remain Both bikes are good in Their Segment so they can’t be compared.

I own both bikes. But here it's RE 500x, whereas I have 350x. Trust me guys Bajaj has done awesome work on Dominar and 2019 model has many changes. RE Bikes are only for show off purpose in terms of Looks and Engine Sound. But believe me if you invest your hard earned money in Dominar. It won't let you down in terms of Looks, Power and Performance whether it's On Road or Off Road.

I own Thunderbird 500 x ... 0 to 100 in just 7 sec... I challenge about this... And about long ride Mai is 850 km single ride pe le ke ja Chuka hu... And aaj Tak Maine dominar leh or ladakh ke route me nahi Dekhi... I am a rider.... Leh ke raste me jab river Aati hai And jab aapko 3 ft deep River se bike nikalni hoti hai tab aapko performance samajh Aati hai.... Baki sabki apni choice hai....

Next time make a video on dominar accident vs RE accident. Then everyone will get to know the standards of dominar and RE.

I’m a RE fan but choosing dominar 400 for ABS . If RE provide ABS I would not choose other than RE. Every time passion doesn’t work without safety I even sent a mail to RE regarding abs and they sent reply “Greetings from Royal Enfield!!! Thanks for your email. The current braking system meets the requirement in all respects including regulations. ABS will be planned for introduction as and when regulation comes into effect or a need is felt. Ride safe, Royal Enfield Support”

The most hilarious thing is...If you look at the sales figures, dominar is still struggling to get the sales figure and that too it's around 2 years since it's launch whereas RE is improving their sales and breaking their own records..So it's like "every body is talking great about dominar but nobody is buying it and they point out all possible negatives about RE..But everybody is buying it..Amazing.
