Yeah, even their names are similar (A)KIYAMA (Nishi)KIYAMA and both are good people at heart, however where Akiyama could hold himself even at rock bottom, Nishiki couldn't. And Nishiki's death was Akiyama's success *Sky Finance* was funded with money that was literally falling from the millennium tower after the Yakuza 1 climax. Their fates are unknowingly similar too, both needing money for themselves or family. Nishiki needed to gather the money to save his sister's life and Akiyama wanted to get out of poverty. He's definitely filling everyone's hole Nishiki left.

For example, Kamuroppu the lop-eared mascot is originally from Online yet he's there in Yakuza 7. And Ryuji's story in Online is a PREQUEL, before he became the Go-Ryu Clan patriarch. He was exiled by Goda Jin(who revealed he could stand from the wheelchair) and left to wander Japan on a motorcycle. During his travel Ryuji met Han Joon Gi. Han was trying to take Ryuji to meet the Jingweon boss since Ryuji is the legitimate heir to the Jingweon mafia.
Love this, this has that dramatic energy of the final episode of an anime that plays at the begining instead of the normal theme to denote things got serious.
@@shiningeditedmoon Often when an anime gets to the final episode they might do a slow maybe sad version of the theme song, or something to indicate this is the final chance with the characters. Where things get very emotional or action realated in the final episode. To match that same kind of energy they can;t just use the same theme song. It would deflate the emotional impact of the final episode. So they change it up for an edited version or another song to match the thematic energy that is going to be occuring in the final episode. Since this is the final episode of an anime you have been very invested in. So they need this song to punchtuate it. Some animes just have it as their final song such as Cowboy Bebop to have it prepared for the audience. Sorry If difficult to understand. I probably should of just said it has big final episode energy to simplify it.

Wow, How am I just finding this. I have played all 8 of these games from 0-7, I've also played Judgment and Fist of The North Star. Im a massive synthwave fan as well, so this is absolutely money for me. Thank You for making this.
After listening to this, I kinda want a Cyberpunk 2077 and Yakuza non-canon crossover, just like the zombie non-canon game... Imagine... A soul killed man uploaded with Kiryu's personality awakes in Arasaka controlled Tokyo, goes back to Kamurocho and encounters the gangs of Kamurocho, Tiger Claws and others? Fighting against the gangs and Arasaka.
It's still fascinates me how mister Shun Akiyama eat up Kiryu Kazuma and then put his foot on his neck with these vocals every time I listen to Baka Mitai. 💀
