BAKED POTATOES.
Yield: 4 servings.
Ingredients:
5 medium potatoes.
1 ½ cups chicken or beef broth.
To taste:
Fresh chives, garlic powder, salt, extra virgin olive oil.
Preparation:
Peel the potatoes and wash them.
Cut them into very thin slices, preferably with a mandolin.
Grease an ovenproof dish with extra virgin olive oil.
Arrange the potato slices covering the entire bottom of the container completely.
Add some chives, a little garlic powder and salt to taste.
Repeat the procedure until you are done with all the potatoes.
Add the cup of broth.
Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 180° C / 350° F.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, prick the potatoes, if they are soft they are ready.
You can increase the oven heat a little to brown them on the surface, if they are not browned.
Serve hot.
