7 years ago, I was a very anxious person. School was tearing me apart, and I lived alone and far away from home. I worked a difficult part time job and was barely scraping by. The stress would always get to me where I’d get sleep paralysis almost every night. This song, this video helped a lot. It would calm me down, help me fall asleep. It helped me during my studies, and it helped me stay positive. This year, I finished my Masters in Law, and my girlfriend and I got approved on our home For some reason, I thought of this song, and this video. Although I’d still listen to it from time to time, today, it feels different. It feels like I’m finally where I wanted to be, after all the struggles. And I think this song helped a lot.
Idk why, but I'm so happy for you I teared up a bit lol I think anime has helped me grow through so many hardship that even though I no longer watch anime I still appreciate them

14 years after and Monogatari still is the best animation ever made in Japan. Everything is perfect in this series, the characters, the world building, soundtracks, character design, story, drama, comedy etc. Monogatari Series is anime at its peak.
After coming back a few years after, this music is still beautiful. It reminds me of my time when I used to watch Monogatari or listen to this while studying. It brings back nostalgia.
***** No, it's not, but when it's overdone it can be. In many anime these days, its overdone and its all about the fan service. Nisemonogatari overdoes it a little, but not to the extent that it becomes the focal point.
You are correct sir! This medley can't be played by one person. Someone 'kinda' recently put up a synthesia video of it you should check it out. A few notes seemed to be flubbed here or there but its put together well! I've always just wanted to see who made this piece, its honestly the best piano piece to me.

maybe because Bakemonogatari is not an anime that everyone able to watch.. Even I just able to watch the first season only, but I just really love the Music so I keep watching until Hitagi and Araragi in a hill and Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari played
@@MsipaulM The first time I saw a clip of the Monogatari series was during the Shinobu time travel arc where we see Araragi and Shinobu in an entirely different world because of him saving Hachikuji. So I sat through the first and second season to finally get to that part, but I still kept watching, cause I thought I would get to see more cool stuff like that, unfortunately, the later seasons are not as action packed, but they offer a different kind of action, real life, the mundane things that people go through in life (slice of life). For me I still thought it was pretty interesting, but I'll definitely not rewatch the whole Monogatari series.
And it's been 13 years since this video was posted... at that time I was in elementary school... without thinking about life's problems... a completely innocent person with no major responsibilities... Today I'm at the University studying a Bachelor of Nursing with many difficulties and responsibilities... how I would love to go back to the years 2000/2010. Monogatari will never leave my heart, Thank you
Shinobu didn't play such an important role in Bake so imo I can't say the same. I wish Senjougahara played a more active role in the other seasons however :/

Kaliber Ego Don't get me wrong :3 Shinobu/Kiss-Shot are easily in my top list too. I actually am getting a Shinobu tattoo on my left arm LOL plus I recently decided on getting a Kiss-Shot Figure o/ It just so happens that Hitagi just captures what I love in a woman the best XD
same here, i like Shinobu and Hachikuji so much that makes me want to buy their figure. But there's something about Senjougahara that i like and it makes me want to be loved by a Tsundere like her lol.

Work on Senjougahara character is really insane and Chiwa dub too ! And an other insane thing is that Chiwa sings herself the two Senjougahara's songs (Stable stable and Futakotome) ! I really love it
There's something so innocent and beautiful about the music of this series. It's one of the few things that I can ever call timeless about anything, really. It's taken me the 5+ years since I watched this series to properly register what makes this music work, what makes it tick. It's accompanied me throughout my entire high school experience, and going into college I've found myself coming back to the question over and over again. There's something distinct here, even then, that I can never seem to grasp. A mix of innocence yet intensely emotional progression always seems to hang over this entire series, even in it's darkest moments. Something that always seems to say, "by the time this ends, we'll be friends again..." Regardless of the time I've spent, it always seems to evade me. Just as the person I care about always seems to evade my advances. ... I always find myself coming back to Kimino Shiranai Monogatari. I'm always afraid I'll become that person. Yet, there's that energy that tells me that those memories will still last, and I will find anew. A cycle of life and love. This series manages to constantly remind me that these things are innocent, not terrible. That you don't have to be an adult to feel danger or hardship, and that now that I am an adult, I still have opportunities to live and explore the world. If I had an opportunity to ask one person a single question, right now, and for the past few years, I would ask Satoru Kōsaki where in his heart the music of this series comes from.
Update: I didn't become that person. At least, I don't think so. We're still friends, but she's not interested. I'm alright with it. I'm just glad that I got it out. I can move on.
Dung17, thanks for this medley. It's been a great thing to listen to for the last decade: hope you're getting on well in these crazy days of ours! The days of Bakemonogatari's heyday definitely seemed like simpler days.
I know what you mean. The greatness of season 1 won't be overtaken easily. Season 2 and 3 was still very enjoyable but it wasn't up to par. I think the kizumonogatari will meet our expectations though.
I added this to this playlist named "Gfgf" i created back in 2016... Was checking my channel and saw it and wanted to see what I was into back then, this got me crying, a feeling of nostalgia, happiness and regret about how I've spent the last 4 years. I'm forever thankful anime and japanese music came into my life. I'm forever thankful those Jacki chan movies got me into eastern asia culture, lol. I used to listen to this in 2012 and dream about Japan. Now I'm back home after 1 year and half lived in Tokyo and this mix pop up on my feed. A part of me wishes to go back to 2012, but I'm also proud to still be here, to not have given up on life. Have a nice day guys.
Awesome song! I love Monogatari for a long time! Now I feel so nostalgic, listening to this song at 6 pm and thinking about how much I love this series and how many years has passed since the first time I watched. I am sure that 5 or 10 years later, I will be listening to this song and feeling the same way. Time passes by so quickly. This is sad and beautiful at same time. Alright, more beautiful than sad!
