That video gave me some more confidence in baker moving forward this next year. I’ll be curious how the scheme is with a new OC but loved watching Baker this past year. Hoping for big things next year!

Nicely done. Baker impressed me last year... he did a pretty good job of getting rid of the ball, used his checkdowns, patient downfield, focused on positive plays. He's a rhythm passer, and with a bottom-of-the-league running game, the team relied heavily on Baker to be the offense. Tampa is notoriously bad at running, and Baker needs a decent running game (throwing 40+ times a game spells "disaster" for him). If they put Godwin in the slot, they should look for a 6'3 wideout opposite Evans in the draft...

What’s crazy is a lot of people say baker had a lucky year but I think with a few tweaks this past year would have been better. I think a second year will do wonders for this team.

Baker was far from lucky. Literally did this with the worst run game in the NFL and a very shaky offensive line. Also a not very good defense that couldnt get their offense back on the field. With more help around him Baker could have a career defining year coming. And last year was already very good. Baker has now had 3 very good seasons in the nfl. People just do not want to give him the credit he deserves. love watching him make national media look stupid

im not saying baker mayfield is better than tom Brady. im just saying he had more regular and post-season success than Brady did last year.

Tampa hasn’t seen this level of QB play since #12 was under center. In fact, Baker might even be as good as Brad Johnson

Might have something tondo with his starting center blowing out his knee in day 1 of training camp in Brady’s last year . Also Lenny was just god awful that year , Baker had a good year but he always had 100x better level of starters available

@@vinceventura4453 Exactly, it helps that the Tampa's last 2 rookie classes have been pretty solid and the talent Baker had this year was better than what Tom had last year. With this years roster Tom wins 10 games.

@@ariejohnson1944Baker is more mobile than Brady and it showed in almost every game, there were many times win the line broke down and Baker escaped the rush

@@makeitallgaming8396 He IS the same Baker. A passionate, smart, highly skilled QB... but FINALLY in some close to normal circumstances. Wait to you see what this "play-action" style QB if the running attack becomes better than the weakest in the NFL!

As usual the margins of victory were low, I think in that 3 year extension time frame Baker and the Bucs can make the NFC championship game. With a little better oline he can go into any stadium against any team and have a chance at winning.

I think most everyone knew that game was ending with an interception across the middle. I don't know why but he's been doing that since he was a Rookie. The Ravens and Steelers both have called him out for it saying he throws to the same place every time if you pressure him a certain way. He's fun to watch. Glad he survived the Carolina experience.

What a fact free comment! :-) RIDICULOUS! Baker leads a team that was supposed to win 3 games into 2 rounds of playoffs, and you bring up one bad play in a game no one thought they'd ever be in. How many games were you predicting we'd win coming out of the preseason?

@@DaveTMTMTL I didn't predict any win-loss record for you because I don't care about your team. Win the division or lose out, whatever. But Mayfield will throw more of these interceptions, because that's what Mayfield has been doing his entire career. You'll see.

@@mykra9905 You'd need to watch Kurt Warner break down all of his plays to see that a LOT of Baker's INTs haven't been his fault. I don't expect you to do that. so just go on believing that "numbers don't lie." :-)
