Yes please try! There are many candle makers out there doing a good job! The most important is to stay focused especially at the beginning. Let's say you like dessert candles, focus on that. If you ilke container candles, stick on it. I see some candle makers doing a great job in their niche area. Happy making! :)
Thank you for your interest. The steps are included throughout the video, including the type of wax, specific temperature etc. It’s written in English and Chinese as part of the captions. Please let me know if you need any other information. 😊
Thank you for your interest. Making this candle require basic candle making tools and the silicon mold in cake shape, next for the wax we use hard soy wax (ie. Ecosoya Pillar Blend). You use a metal pot to melt the wax and use candle dye to make the color, at about 85C you can pour your colored wax into the mold and wait until it is harden completely. :)
Actually it's all because of the silicon mold, the mold already has the rough surface shape like a cake so after wax hardened it comes out like like. These cake silicon molds are so real nowadays.
This is really cute candle looking forward you new video and thanks for answer everyone questions because I curious too ;) ❤ Do you have a favorite mold?
Thank you for your interest and support! It looks like more viewers enjoy food/dessert/bakery candles! Yes I do have some favourite molds! Let me make another video introducing some fabulous bakery molds and you won’t believe how real they look like after unmolding! ❤️
@@amimim88 Yes it's easily get addicted once you got your first mold. :) I'll put some candle videos which don't need a candle mold, hope you can find it useful. Stay tuned. :)
Hola acabo de encontrar tus vídeos y me gustaron mucho porque es solo el molde lo que usas para que parezca un postre , y no agregas nada extra para que sea tan real. Felicidades.
@@cieloguadalupeguzmansegovi8548 Thank you! The silicon molds are all in very high quality now and imitate so well to the real products! And they are so easy to make and add any fragrance you like! Try it! :)
This creamy texture is created by Ecosoya Pillar Blend wax (ie. hard soy wax for pillar type also works). You can also add some white beeswax to make the candle harder. Of course coloring is important. :)
Thank you for your question. We use Korean wick #2 size. However, there are so many wick suppliers so it is difficult to match our wick to other wicks. As a rule of thumb, look for the suggested burn diameter of your wick as your first reference. Then you may adjust the wick size after you test burn your candle. Because the wax type (and all other addictives you put in, eg. fragrance oil) will create different burn result. Happy making! :)
Thank you for your question. You can search for a variety of muffin molds in AliExpress where most of the sellers there can do international shipping. If you are from Hong Kong then you can visit my website while I sell most of the candle making materials locally. Happy making! :)
Those are so cute may I ask where did you get the molds what kind and what size wick are you using and what type of wax are you using if you don’t mind me asking you
Hi Bella, thank you for your interest. You can search cake/muffin/etc silicon(e) molds at AliExpress (or Taobao if you are from China or Hong Kong), there should be a lot of different shapes. Wick size depends on your choice of mold size, please expect these kind of candles will not burn as clean as a commercial pillar candle due to its shape. We use hard soy wax (Ecosoya Pillar Blend wax) for these candles, you can add some beeswax (up to 50%) if you want it more hardened. Hope it helps! :)
Hi Vanessa, any fragrance oil for candle making would work. There are many different fragrance oil with food/dessert/drink scents. You can add around 5-7% fragrance oil after making the color. :)
Please google translate the following: We use hard soy wax (Ecosoya Pillar Blend wax). You can add some white beeswax to make the candle harder (optional). We use cake shape silicon mold to make these candles, and candle use liquid or solid dye.
Thank you for your question! You can use hard soy wax (soy wax for pillar) to make this cake candle. You can even blend with some beeswax to make the candle harder. :) You can view our other candles at our IG @jellocandles or at our website jellocandle.com
@@kqxx We are not painting the color onto the candle. We melt candle dye together with wax to make the color, before pouring the liquid wax into the mold. If you watch the video again you will see we use liquid dye for coloring :)
@@reendgrande4867 do you mean the cake candle mold? It is silicon mold in cake shape. You can search in AliExpress if you are outside of Hong Kong. AliExpress usually ships overseas. :)
Thank you for your interest. Basically most pillar wax works (ie. hard soy wax, paraffin wax, beeswax). However, to get this texture, suggest to use soy based pillar wax (for example, Ecosoya Pillar Blend wax, you can also mix some white beeswax to make the candle harder :) You can also visit our website www.jellocandle.com for our zoom courses details if you want to look into more of this. :)
