Lol ew, is right @Somaly. Baki taught me something valuable, if Kozue wants to leave him...he'll be upset, but he knows that its her decision 100% and she's no object nor his possession. She is her own person. No use in being persuasive for someone who ever considers leaving you. He ain't got time for the games. He's a real man, idk why Kozue compared the two LOL. Alai over here like; oh uhhh you're the #1 woman and have to find the #1 man. Me: "She ain't gotta do crap, but be Kozue and live her life 😂" Good reaction ya'll lol

Baki is an anime that is very deep that goes beyond conventional philosophical ideas. I love Baki's attitude in not making a relationship like a contract. I have yet to see other people review this anime, so thank you.

Yes! This is my first go around within the Baki universe but I picked that right up from the beginning. I love how ‘forward’ thinking Baki is too. When he said that I was like wow I STAN. We started reacting to OG Baki and the scene with Yasha Ape and Baki’s realization and connection with humanity/beast/history was my favorite episode! I’m sooo glad the writers made that a true characteristic of Baki where it’s portrayed in every adaptation and isn’t just glossed over. Like the obviously sexists remarks are usually counteracted in some way whether it’s Baki’s ideals or just good writing in general! For me that’s what makes this anime way more enjoyable. But relationships are an unwritten form of contract, both parties have to be in agreement for the relationship to work, just because baki didn't care doesn't mean it's not a contract it means the terms are different than usual.

I'm not sure what to think because in japanese they just call the grand kaioh a kaioh as well but in the sub Kaku called Yujiro grand sea king or something so it was more than just whether they would recognize him as a kaioh but rather the top one.
