I don’t know about the Flavell sisters… Kylie flies to the Andes for a multi-day trek & twists her ankle in the car park, and now her sister seriously injures her leg shortly after arriving in Trentino Dolomiti. 🙄🤪 But seriously, I second Denise Mankewitz’ sentiment. I so look forward to our weekly dollup of Kylie coziness and sunshine. It warms my heart. I too love the Dolomites, and over the years of visiting various locales, we’ve settled in on Corvara & Colfosco in the Alta Val Badia. It’s the center of the indigenous Ladin culture, and I just love Ladin architecture and the culture’s respectful balance with nature. Since Guido and your sister love skiing, they’d love it there. With a Super SkiPass Dolomiti, you can ski completely around the Sella Gruppo while passing through four alpine valleys. Thank you for the recipe Kylie. I grew up as a child in England and we would buy the hot cross buns from the local baker. That was the 1950s. So at that time, they were well made and delicious. My mother eventually learned how to make them. It was always an Easter tradition in our home. I live in Italy now, and I think the Italians would love them! Don't you? Buona Pasqua!

This was so lovely.I bet your mountain cabin smelled delicious when you baked them. I’m looking forward to making them .What a beautiful part of Italy this is. I remember my grandmother telling me about the sheep herders that lived in the mountains, that they would make wine out of dandelions and made cheese as well. This was a long time ago as she was in her 80’s in the late 60’s. I wonder if Guido ever heard of this. I miss her . On Palm Sunday she would weave palms into beautiful cone shapes.
