BAKING Paint in the OVEN??? This Won't End Well...

Let's start off by baking our high temp paint in the oven. Yea...don't do this at home, for the sake of your marriage! We assemble most of the engine and are only waiting on powdercoating and polishing to finish buttoning up the covers. We also get an update on the cb175 project and the xs750.

I put an old electric oven in my shop for that exact problem with using the house oven. I also have a powder coating oven from Eastwood for the smaller jobs.

@@two-cargarageI don't have a garage, or workshop. And yet, I have a $12 used toaster oven from a thrift store. Sits on the counter. Cures paint. And doesn't leave toxic fumes and chemicals in my oven that I use to cook food.

The main thing to take away from this is that you got the job done…but you may have to sleep on the couch!!!!

All he has to do is put vinegar in a pan in the oven and then once heated then wipe it out really good that's what I do and afterwards my oven is good as new

About the XS-750, if the seat is good, do not change it. . . . And for the color. . . The whine red color was gorgeous. . 🥰

My trunk is full of parts, including the frame, to take to the powder coater. Because of the cost involved, I'm taking some time getting everything powder-coated. But once all of it is done, all that's left is reassembly!
