is there a way to save an FBX with textures folder in cinema 4d? so that the 3d object can be imported to other software programs with textures applied
I thought single texture means everything comes out in one file. But you have 2 separate textures files. Also, why do you load the color.png into diffusion rather than the color channel? I'm confused on that.
Great tut dude! I am doing a project were I'm using an iPad model and I need to bake all the materials except for the screen which I need to short movie in. Is there any way to do this? I've tried to do this but when you bring it in to Element the screen material is just black and doesn't do anything. Thanks ahead of time!
really nice tutorial sir . but what if i want to make some part texture .( sorry for bad english) ill explain , i have 1 car model c4d file . all textured but i want to make full body material seprate and tire material seprate . but my car tire has lots of parts like rim tire scru etc . i want to make it in 1 material and 1 texture . and finally i want to get only 2 matelials and texture . body and tire . thanks
Try Bake texture. Seems to work for me. go thru the checks: make sure everything u need selecting is selected objects>bake object or object>bake texture or try Tags>bake texture Think that is same as bake texture? Make sure size is set, colour/amb occ/bump is set also---select all >right click> connect objects delete, make sure its a duplicate or you have made a save also--top right hand corner is LAYOUT-STANDARD, if u click on it , go to > bp uv map, final output should look like this. Sometimes i get really odd results but trying a combo of these kinda gets yer thru it.
