Chatkhara Kofta Kabab is a delightful dish often prepared during Bakra Eid. Let me share some information about it:
𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯:
These kababs are made from minced meat (usually beef or mutton) mixed with aromatic spices and herbs.
The term “𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮” refers to the tangy and flavorful taste of these kababs.
They are typically shallow-fried or grilled, resulting in a crispy exterior and a juicy, tender interior.
Here is the recipe
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Beaf or mutton mince : 500 gram
Squeezed onion : 2 medium size
Ginger and garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Green chili paste : 1 tbsp
Kachri powder or tenderizer : 1 tsp
Roasted chickpea powder : 1 tbsp
Corn flour : 1 tbsp
Salt : 1 tsp
Red chili powder : 1 tsp
Coriander powder : 1 tsp
Cumin powder : 1 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice : 1 lemon
Crushed red chili : 1 tsp
If you are using meat tenderizer / Kachri powder, Then rest it for 30 minutes, Otherwise rest it for 4 to 5 hour
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯:
Heat up oil on medium flame
Now cover it and cook it on low flame for 6 to 8 minutes
Garlic chopped : 1 tsp
Sliced onion
Sliced green chili
Sliced tomato without seeds
White vinegar : 1 tbsp
Soya sauce : 1 tbsp
Chili sauce : 1 tbsp
Crushed red chili : 1/2 tsp
Ketchup : 2 tbsp
Corn flour : 1 tsp
Add 2 tbsp of water and mix it well
Salt : 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala : 1/2 tsp
Fried Kofta
Sliced tomato
Chopped coriander
