I immediately could see from a mile away that Genba wasn't really going to betray them. But this was a very solid episode. Safari was a cute vehicle, it certainly looked like it belonged in Go-Onger. BoonBoomger Killer Robo was also cool,(Even if it's debut basically ammounted to depowering the rangers with music) and I'm glad this isn't just a one and done deal. So I have a feeling we're probably going to alternate between the Monster of the week, and Killer Robo being deployed.

In first arc, Jyou, Mirai and Shirabe are the ones whose got the most character development while we learned something about Taiya on end of that arc, while Genba remained in mystery since he's debuted in between of Taiya related mini arc. But in second arc, everything (except upcoming episode 14) is literally developed around Taiya and Genba. Genba was absurdly highlighted up in 3 out of 4 episodes in this arc while Jyou and Shirabe are literally pushed out. Even, Shirabe doesn't appeared in last 2 episodes at all. Since Mirai is actual perspective character of this show, she able to stood out somehow. On the other hand, the Monster Robo mini-arc was a good opportunity for Ishirou, who received the least focus, to shine. I wonder who they will focus on in the 15th episode, but I hope this person is not Taiya or Genba because they already have a lot of focus.

DX killer robo also has killer versions of the blue and pink vehicles. Hopefully we'll see those next episode too.

A solid episode and I genuinely am enjoying Boonboomger a lot more than I thought I would. I kind of expected Genba to not actually betray them but how they went about it was executed pretty well, especially with how the actor performed it. I also like how Boonboomger has done this thing with the new forms where one part of the mecha will debut in a first episode, then in the next episode the full mecha form will debut with the same amount of flair that you expect from a mecha form. I like it a lot and it makes me like them a lot more than I would if they were throwaways

I initially read the description as an “AI bad” storyline where Safari and Marine sent rouge, but my expectations were recalibrated before the episode. I could see this as being an “Orange Gone Bad” episode, but nothing really happens either other than the one note on connecting the Go-Onger stuff with the animal-themed cars, so it can be skipped in an adaptation-you could possibly jump from this first 8-9 episode arc straight into Boon Violet’s debut in a Power Rangers adaptation and not much plot is lost (because you can always give generals more to do)

Idk I actually liked the AI aspect to the robo, I know it's a very small thing, but it adds more to the specific robo in particular than compared to most so far. At least for me.
