Thanks to all those who have supported me over the years it really means a lot.
Also honorable mentions to the alien Borg's or whatever the heck they were called in kakuranger. ( I just think they're neat and I always wanted the figures as a kid) 😅
Maybe it's the heavy shading spray painted onto the suit, but I always loved how the Ninja Megazord suit looked. Shogun Megazord is a decent bulky Megazord. Storm Megazord is... fine, but it's other combinations blow it out of the water. Ninja Steel Megazord can get the fuck out of my timeline.
How about “Mythical’ Megazords or Mecha? Are there enough in Sentai? Because this can include so many sorts outside of main sorts and would be interesting
Also by that, you should've done Shinkenger even though they are technically animals-they secondary origami sets them apart from run of the mill animal zords
KakureDaishogun/Ninja Megazord: Like you, I also feel the need to do a double take at the fact that this was the second Megazord in Kakuranger. Otherwise, it's a decent Megazord. Ninja Megazord(1995 Movie version): Once you take away the mid 90s CGI, I admire the attempt of making something a bit more cinematic as opposed to a practical suit. Muteki Shogun/Shogun Megazord: This very cool mobile palice and formidible shogun is really cool. Senpuujin/Storm Megazord: A very standard 3-piece Megazord formation. Other than that, it's still a decent looking Megazord(Even if it's essentially a walking Gashapon machine.) Also, Lightning mode is an underrated gimmick. Shurikenjin/Ninja Steel Megazord: one of the more unorthodox Megazords, But it still looks cool, giving the appearence of a smaller Robot piloting a larger one. Also the Dragon formation is pretty cool. As for what you should do next. I'm leaning more towards ranking dinosaur seasons next. Because with animal seasons; the catagory becomes a lot more broad with a ton of semantics. Do we just stick with just straight up animals?(Sun Vulcan, Liveman, Jetman Gaoranger/Wild Force, Gekiranger/Jungle Fury, Zyuohger, King-Ohger), Do we include mythical beasts?(Changeman, Dairanger/MMPR2/Squadron Rangers, Magiranger/Mystic Force, Goseiger/Megaforce, Kyuranger/Cosmic Fury) Do we double dip in catagories(Hurricanger/Ninja Storm, Go-Onger/RPM, Go-Busters/Beast Morphers.) And what about seasons that aren't explicetly animal themed, but have animal-based zords?(Kakuranger/MMPR3/Alien Rangers, Ohranger/Zeo, and Shinkenger/Samurai.) I'm starting to empahize with you when all these edge cases and semantics just cause too many unecissary headaches.
My favourite is senpujin harrier, don't know why it's is a amazing design and is sleek and cool looking as well. It could have been a great kikainoid design in zenkaiger. Such a miss oppertunity.
Hurricaneger/ Ninja Storm megazord is my favorite ninja themed megazord. I think it mainly comes from how Ninja Storm is the first series I remember seeing the most and I’ve always just had a soft spot for how the mecha has the orb gimmick and how easy it was to imagine all three mechs from the series combining into one. Least favorite is definitely the movie ninja megazord. Individually the zones look pretty good, I especially like that the ape looks like an ape, but put together it just does not work at all. Which is odd given how this is essentially the same megazord from the show just in a movie.
Fury recolors are more or less a way to sidestep recolors. In addition, Bandai America thinks that any villain roleplay toy won't sell, so they hamfisted in redesigning everything Koragg uses, even though he does rejoin the heroes with a new coat of red paint.
I see it that he is "hired", could a third party "pay more" to get him a few episodes? It would be a nice twist (even if its more like Ryan vs "going bad again")
If you don't erase from your mind any high frequency sound like "een" it's "Green Needle". So, if you force yourself to hear "Brainstorm", to do that, you'll forcibly stop to hear that high note on "ee". So ultimately is "Green Needle" but we can change perspective and don't hear a part of the sound to hear the other one. I think this is the most nearest to the true. Cause a lot of people can't hear easily anything else than Green Needle (me too)
When the sirens blare and the lion roars, the Red Ranger knows that the signal is calling. With a secret weapon, he'll be able to fight both fires and the bad guys who have ignited them. Accidents in racing are waiting to happen... on puropse. That's when firefighters come to the rescue. Coming soon to "Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger"; a Battlizer based on the concepts of firefighters, the secret weapon needed to activate it, and the following mecha: two firetruck Zords. When combined, they form... a lion?! This wild animal symbolizes bravery, and that's what firefighters need to be.
I mean that's basically the Omega Rangers. It would work, I feel, but you still need to start off with that MMPR Animated Series. Then you can use that to branch out. After a couple seasons, separate Zack, Trini and Jason, go Omega and build a series around that with the rest of the team made up of new Rangers (bring the count to 6 of course). Then take Tommy, Billy and Kim and, well, do MMPR S2. But maybe have Rocky, Adam and Aisha around from the start. Feel free to change the suits this time around. See, that's the thing. Power Rangers has already done what you suggested and it worked. Resetting the entire cast every season does not work though, as people need someone they are familiar and feel connected with to stay on-board. Zeo managed to retain alot of viewers, Turbo may not have despite carrying over cast, but there is a lot of other reasons it didn't work in that case. Look how many people tuned in to Once & Always even though we only had 2 OG Rangers. I do think your suggested approach would work, you've just got to make sure you keep some form of some of the legacy characters around. Just like Charizard and Pikachu.
