That's a tall order, but a welcome one for a Sixth, since they tend to stop being special once the new suit smell wears off. But, here's hoping that Boon Violet breaks that cycle for me.

So far, Sakito made a great first impression. Certainly has a more cool flair compaired to most recent Sixth rangers. His fight was amazing, especially how he just speed blitzed the monster!(Almost feels like something out of Kabuto.) It also brings up some interestiing lore tidbits especially Diesel and Boondorio's history together, again I hope we get some more elaboration about their speicies and homeworld.(Also side note I just found out that Natsuki Hanae also voices Tai in Digimon tri, and given that we also have Rica Matsumoto voicing Boondorio technically means we have our first Pokemon/Digimon crossover!) Maybe i'm theorizing, but I have feeling that Violet's morpher is probably a prototype to the regular Boonboomger powerset.(Think like Mega Silver, or Abare Killer.)

This was a great episode. I like how Boonviolet feels more like a rival than a villain and how he’s perfectly okay with doing deliveries for the villains as long as he gets paid. I also like how his F1 motif is used even outside of his BoonViolet suit, which made his multiple usurpings of the Boonboomgers jobs a bit more believable as he was moving faster than any of them could. I like Byuun Diesel as well, although we didn’t see enough of him for me to get a clear read he was nice to see and I like his and Violet’s dynamic.

Loving the intrigue and the rivalry so far. But they really couldn't put a handle on the Boonboom controller? Him holding the bottom of the bow looks so goofy to me 😂.

Good episode, I am not 100% about Violet. I like him but I get the feeling he could rub me the wrong way in the future. This episode screamed Taiya is getting a power up and I believe that might be the way Violet joins the team.

Both robots are now voice by ash and tai from Pokémon and digimon respectively. The new guy just perform drive formula rider kick in his debut fight.

First, BoonBoom exists. Then, the Hashiliens evoke Team Rocket. Now, BoonBoom has a Rival?! This just confirms that Ash got hit by a truck when Journeys ended. So hard *THAT HE TURNED INTO ONE!*

Finally! We haven't had a great episode for Boonboonger in awhile and I thought this was great! Sakito definitely feels more rival sixth than villainous. And I love the weapon: incredibly creative and I really dig the design. My theory is he needs Boom Boom to unlock some type of password on the controller so he can use his mech. But great episode 8.5/10

I could easily see this going Lightspeed Style where Pink's brother has been raised by the Villains and is a hybrid. The controller was supposed to be for Red's "battalizer" or something designed by the ISA or whoever, but was trashed and Cannonborg modifies it to be a morpher/weapon for a ranger of his own. Make Diesel a general type that has this Uncle Iroh element to the brother. You could have the hatred stem from when the Hashaliens took over the machine world, Diesel turned his back on Boondorio and the others, but genuinely care about his race in general even if he didn't like the way things had been going prior to the Hashaliens taking over (or maybe its like that one bird in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole where his parent's were kidnapped to make him submit-and that's why he is such a parental figure to Purple)
