Bakugo is definitely not weak, It's just Deku's quirk is OP. In terms of raw quirk power, yeah sure he is lagging behind todoroki and deku. But when it come to natural fighting skills I think he is much better compared the 2. His fighting instincts is beyond comparable. The only thing holding him back is quirk and his attitude.

Bakugou unfortunately won't get a power up. All Might pointed out that Bakugou was already high level compared to Deku at the time. Deku has been leveling up and due OFA flexibility: Deku was always going to surpass Bakugou. Bakugou is to Deku what Endeavor is to All Might. Bakugou will never be able to keep up. He will be in Deku's shadow. While people can throw out quirk evolution and such: it just doesn't change that Deku still has more quirks to unlock and Bakugou is already at a point that he's now stuck.

Bakugo pre-War arc: "Ha! I can already fly! So while you are trying to figure out how to use the quirk, I will have already mastered the technique!" Bakugo during the War arc: "What the Hell!?! How did he get stronger?"

I always knew Deku would get stronger and eventually pass up his class mates because well he is the main character (love u deku💚) lol but still I’m proud of Bakugou for not wanting to give up even though it seems impossible right now. He still is really strong and a great hero even with his one quirk. Whether his dream to be number 1 comes true I’ll still always love him and his character development and his determined attitude🧡💥

We already knows Deku does. Since the first chapter, he is telling the story on how he became the world's greatest hero. That means greater than Bakugou.

Bakugo worked hard to get to where he is at and has pride of his work. Everything he does and the applications to his quirk comes from hard work and training. Also bakugo will have to grow. He is the rival and hes going to grow and push his threshold. OFA is broken but nothing suggest that anyones quirk wont grow or awaken. Bakugo will have to learn that Deku is better and eventually push himself to catch up but this time humbled.

Honestly I can’t say this is true yet manly because we don’t even know what the other quirks do and how they will be used in combat. Plus with shigaraki having all for one he still has a bunch of quirks that he also needs to unlock and he can also keep stealing quirks from other people btw. Also deku and bakugou are still young, ill hold my judgement until they are in their prime cause them the payoff feels like it’s gonna worth it. Though this is just my opinion.

The reason I love deku is the same reason I love superman it's never about how much power he has or who he is fighting, but his heart. His will to never give up and dedication to save people even before he had power is what makes his great. Yes he cries a bunch of times, but I actually like that, it shows how human he is, plus him crying never comes in conflict with any of his goals so it's not like it's a disadvantage it mostly even played for laughs

Deku really does have more experience in terms of people he’s beaten. He fought Stain (w/ help), Muscular, Overhaul (w/ Eri), and Gentle. Beating Muscular and Gentle by himself no less.

I hate the way this story is going. It went from a kid struggling and training hard to be the number one hero, to Deku is gifted the best quirk ever and it's a matter of time until he reaches greatness. Mirio seems like a better protagonist than Deku.

What really is the point or purpose of this video when Deku was literally gifted the best quirk in the show. And I know it was a minute ago but I'm pretty sure Kacchan won the battle against Class 1-B while Deku just discovered black whip. However, I blame the author to have an character so high in popularity polls and literally do one thing to his development a year it feels like. That's on Horikoshi Kacchan getting passed up is inevitable but currently I still don't think Deku is passed him. I'm more curious on his development than Izuku's we were already told where his leads him to being. I want to know where Kacchan goes from here since he's the true underdog here

Bakugo is not weak he is one of the strongest people in the show hate on me if u want but I love him so much he may be struggling a bit but he is so brave and strong

In the beginning of the show Deku was just "a stepping stone" for Bakugou, but now its almost the opposite. But hes a stepping stone in a good way! Because of their rivalry it has pushed Deku to go even further beyond and train harder (plus ultra style). But Bakugou still has the mindset that Deku isn't better than him. So now that Deku is stronger and Bakugou will realize he's the one who needs to catch up. Deku has always thought of Bakugou as a goal to reach, but I think Bakugou will have some good 'ol character development and start think of Deku as a new goal to surpass that will drive him to do better. Because of that deku will work harder to so they can be equals. Overall I think they are the perfect definition of rivals, both pushing each other to do better. When one gets ahead the other follows right behind.

Honestly... as much as im enjoying my hero.... im sick of bakugo He just beat Deku in their rematch at night...I just want deku to wreck him and take him down a few notches. Fighting at 5% of all for one honestly seems useless. That kick bakugo blocked should have at least broken both of his arms. It seems like 5% is just a crappy speed boost. Either way Bakugo is starting to annoy me.

Sorry I completely disagree with the 4:10 about this is a story about natural talent vs hard work, I think its been shown time and time again that hard work cant really do much against overwhelming talent. From the start we see All might tell deku that he should give up on being a hero since he was quirkless. Then Endeavor working his ass off to surpass all might only to be left in the dust. Even All for one killing top heroes so easily. heck even whats happening with Shiggy in the latest chapters show, Hardwork means nothing in MHA, not when compared to Talent. Bakugo works harder than anyone! And sadly will be left in the dust like Endeavour, Bakugo IS NOT COMPLACENT AT ALL! Even fighting Ururaka, he went all out, he never underestimates his foe. Natural talent beats hardwork every time in MHA

You know the part of this I don't understand all these years no one ever blamed bakugou for his advantages, and one of the biggest criticisms to midoriya is him not physically training himself before he got one for all because you use what you have right but now I'm seeing a lot of people complaining that it's not fair and bakugou should have more. Bakugou! You know what Saro should have more, invisible girl should have more, where's the enhancement for froppy while we're at it. He is the last character who needs more.

You all are saying that deku is going to be all might and bakugou endeavor but in this story deku and bakugou are rivals so horikoshi is going to make bakugou stronger to the point where he can compete with deku, but deku will be the greatest hero anyway because he is the main character. You have to think that they are 1st year students not 30 years old pro heroes. Bakugou and Deku still have a long way to go. My favourite character is Deku but I cant let all of you say that deku is going to be 10 or 100 times stronger than bakugou when they are rivals. Bakugou is probably get a power up to make his explosions supernova explosions or something like that. If deku in his peak has 100000 power then bakugou has 99000. Endeavor was probably physically stronger than all might adter USJ tbh, All Might can barely beat a nomu that wasnt really high end tbh, even if it wasnt one of those weak ass nomu, and endeavor while he struggled, managed to beat a full on high end.

Deku will always overcome obstacles as he worked hard to be the hero he aspires to be. Its just his personality and character. He is a smart guy too and quick thinking. I love Bakugou as well but the bullying, acting as the superior towards others will end at some point (real life speaking) so Bakugou will need to be humbled, be a hero and not an asshole lol.

Y’all are going to tell me that I do not have to post this, however, I feel strongly about this easily overlooked aspect of the series/fandom. I HAVE TO post this: Bakugo, Katsuki is a bully character. As someone who was bullied from prekindergarten through to my first year of high school back when I used to live in a TOXIC ENVIRONMENT (El Paso, Texas) I have a bias (as “unfair” as most of the fandom will SCREAM at me that it is) toward bully-type characters and would rather not have them in a series if it can be helped. His character is unfairly pretty because the original plan that Horikoshi, Kouhei had for this specific character was for him to be a nice-type character and instead turned him into a bully-type at the last second. The main reason that most of the fandom even SOMEWHAT likes his character is because he is OBJECTIVELY visually aesthetically pleasing. Obviously anyone who is at least thirteen and up KNOWS that being in ANY WAY, SHAPE, AND/OR FORM of a relationship with someone who was a bully during their younger years is signing yourself up for suicide and/or homicide and/or just death. Because death is a better option than being in a relationship with someone like that. This is my personal opinion on a popular topic in this fandom. Do not come for me just because I am expressing my personal opinions in a civil manner about something that I have strong feelings about. I just do not like seeing good and well written characters get hurt because the fans in a fandom want those characters to interact with a bully-type character. I am not okay with unhealthy relationships and I would hope that my fellow fans would agree that being in a relationship with a bully-type character is unhealthy and difficult (painful) to see in fanworks. Please and Thank You for reading my comment~!~!~! U^ェ^U

To parallel Deku’s representation of Western Super Heroes, I always saw Bakugo as a representation of not just Shounen Rivals but Eastern Shounen Heroes in general. In fact, I saw Bakugo as basically Naruto if Naruto was recognized for his talents early on, raised by his parents, and even coddled to the point of Narcissism like Bakugo was. (Not comparing him to Sasuke or Vegeta due to Bakugo not being driven by revenge at any extended point). And Bakugo’s drive to be #1 specifically is no different from Naruto, Luffy, or even Goku’s goals of being #1 either. So as for power ups, I can actually see Bakugo getting something like a transformation or a Kaioken equivalent in the future in order to keep up with Deku, with all the draw backs that come with it. And I can see Horikoshi continuing to examine certain traits of Shounen heroes through Bakugo and what it means to push your talent further beyond as well as what it truly takes to make it in strength. But I think any and all power ups will be in service to Bakugos character arc in recognizing that being #1 or the best hero means more than just raw strength and talent. And I think that’s why Horikoshi essentially stopped Bakugo from any significant growth in strength, because that kind of growth isn’t going to really help him in his pursuit to be a hero at this moment.

Question: does deku already had his awakened quirk when he gets the multiple quirk or deku's 6 other quirk quirk will have their individual awakening?

The reason they made Mirio lose his quirk because who would be the number 2 hero. The thing Horikoshi is planning now is Bakugou will get more and more powerful and will surpass Todoroki being the number 2 hero.

A 3rd fight would never happen unless Bakugou got a crazy buff

Bakugo could barely compete with 8% Midoriya and a sloppy shoot style. Now that Shoot style is refined, and Midoriya is capable of maintaining far more than 8%, and GIVEN how much that 3% bump boosted Midoriya, Bakugo has been left in the dust for an entire season of the anime.

Just to say this, bakugou didn’t have a first work study with best Jeanist. Bakugou Failed his provisional license exam and wasn’t allowed to do one.

Also the fact Izuku is a *complete NERD* is probably is biggest character similarity to Peter Parker OH that and they both have the stoic ideals of what it mean to be a "hero" as they both clearly have the self-awareness that "With great power comes great responsibility" ..and they both kind hearted wholesome caring poeple

Anyone with common sense understood bakugo wouldn’t be rivaling deku for long, bakugo>5% OFA deku, Deku 8% OFA>Bakugo, then deku showed 20% OFA against overhaul, then deku could use 10-15% OFA and still proved he’s above Bakugo, now he has 30% OFA and short bursts of 45% OFA with blackwhip and now he can fly and make things float, Bakugo doesn’t even COMPARE anymore, right when deku got to 20% I already knew it was game over, Bakugo will never rival deku again unless he gets another quirk, which to be honest here I could see happening, Todoroki basically has 2 quirks in one, deku will have a total of 7, I can legit see Bakugo getting another quirk, but if that doesn’t happen Bakugo will never be even remotely close to deku,
