Very impressive I'M 47 and I learnt something watching your video. I ride dirt bikes all my junior year's growing up and remember being taught this in the Junior Motorcycle clubs. But as we get older we don't do the things we enjoy as much as we'd like so I forgot a lot of the things I learnt and watching your video reminded me Ican go out and practices now that I remember these important skills 🇦🇺👍
Great lesson and many thanks! Such method of balance training in a full lock position I got the first time. It is very important to create such lessons, many beginners will remember you with a kind word.
Real slow riding is easier dragging the REAR brake and working the throttle and the clutch at it's engagement point. Using the front brake works some of the time but the front end can want to dive in to the direction that the wheel is turned and make you have to dab, but by using the REAR more or only you don't feel that dive, or tendency to tuck the turned front tire.
Yes I would agree with that for sure. As I have learned more, dragging the rear brake is more stable but learning how to be precise with it is a challenge in itself. Thanks for the comment
Good job I like da way use thinks...all joking aside good video....for the average smuck your asking way too much, but this is really good for some one who want to learn...I used to ride my peak hours school out 50 to 70 hours a week, and can do most of these, but its good tips for some one new to try and practice, the key is don't try attitude is everything,do this stuff really do it because it will really help,u can but it took me along time to get to this kinda stuff and play ride...thank nice job
These are really good advice for training and improving, thanks. How long do you practice each step, and how often ? I'm used to slow turn 10 circles on each direction, then 10 "8" . But I'm not easy at static balance.
I usually do each step until I feel comfortable then move to the next. you don't have to master static balance before riding circles but it helps. I try to do a few figure eights before each ride to get warmed up.
Hi am 45 years old, with 10 hours of dirt bike riding ( my first bike ever), i do struggle with clutch control, are these drills exectly what i should practice to gain control? How much time more or less do i have to put on each one of them. Regards Kobi
I've noticed that many people that watch my videos, comment that they do that already, and I'm the same with this video, we usually try to make these videos for the newbies and end up with the people that already know how to ride. Feels like when we buy bikes to impress girls but the only people that are impressed it's other men at the trail head.
Haha yes you are right. Girls like bling and swag, not grungy old dirtbike riders. I make a video of gnarly terrain with lots of cool shots and no one cares. But me messing around in a field is gold!
My used KTM came with a Rekluse clutch and steering stabilizer. The shit is weird to me but I have to admit its fuckin sweeeet....I'd never pay a grand for a clutch or 500 on a stabilizer but the dude who owned my bike before me did so....
Lots of your favorite stickers will make your bike way COOLer! I use to do this stuff on my CRF450, It was a steam breathing dragon most the time. Haven't looked back
yes there is a lot of clutch slipping. I ridden many many hours while slipping the clutch and haven't had much trouble with it. I do change my oil more often when i know i've been hard on it. Doing this is really low rpm so it doesn't build a ton of heat.
I live in a state where u are required to take a motorcycle safety class before getting your street motorcycle licence, not to far from what you are seeing here...THANKS
