BalanceTutor: Functional task specific gait and balance training 

BalanceTutor perturbation treadmill -Vestibular rehabilitation using unexpected postural perturbation allowing for head and eye coordination practice together with controlled perturbation.
Combine visual/ vestibular practice like pursuit, saccade, VOR/ VOR cancellation and Optokinetic stimulation together with the additional proprioception, visual feedback and increased head accelerations that result from perturbations has allowed a high level of sensory integration training. This is achieved as we are working on several reflexes including vestibular spinal reflex, VOR and cervical ocular reflex and the "like reflex" of reactive postural control following unexpected perturbation triggered by proprioception.
