Thank you!! I have had skates for about a year now and only used them a couple of times because every time I fell my mum would come rushing towards me saying if I was ok and freaking out lol 😂 I stopped after spraining my wrist because I landed weirdly 🤦♀ but I think I want to start again You're boosting my confidence so much, thank you!! xx
@@Skatie Thank you so much, I've been practising again and I can sort of skate forward now, I'm using the bending technique where you can't see your feet and I've got way more balance than when I used to do it without bending my legs a lot ❤💕💕
Thank you! I'm 11 now and finally have some skates after 2 years I think, the last time I had skates I broke the cooker due to not having perfect balance so this will help me tuns xx
Oh no! Hope you didn’t get in too much trouble! Good to hear you’ve got new skates. Have lots of fun and don’t forget to wear your safety gear. Happy rolling 💕👍🛼
Thanks for putting out these essential tips. I'm re-learning a lot of skating fundamentals from your lessons. I skated a lot during my tween-age years then I got busy with life and there was a span of almost 60 years before I decided to put on skates again. I immediately realized that unlike bicycling, skating skills are perishable. I'm almost 71 years old and physically active with cycling - pedal and motor. I crave the flow of winding motion and skating has it in spades.
Omg this are my favourite leggings. They have POCKETS!! 😂 unfortunately they are not branded they’re just ones I bought in my local high street. They are pretty similar to the “Instagram Leggings” from a couple of years back.
Wow! Big smiley face! Great spotting! The last two days I have been filming my rollerskating progress and I have discovered orbs floating around during different moments. Plan on putting a video together of all the orbs I have spotted soon 😋 Nothing as obvious or impressive as the large face though! Can't believe I missed it the first time 😄
Bro just don’t say please don’t say that you all didn’t notice a ghostly figure in 0:46 at the window Bruh i am crying Look closely in the very last window where all those stuffs are kept
I feel like I'm not really progressing due to really awful knee pain. Do you have any advice on how to mange/reduce the pain from bending my knees to get balance?
Unfortunately skating is heavy on the knees. Perhaps you could talk to your doctor or a chiropractor etc and see if they could recommend a good knee support or a taping method to support your knees. I hope you find something to help xx
I used to do aggressive inline as a teen. Jumping stairs, and racing in the street. As an adult, I sadly had multiple vertigo episodes out of nowhere and tinnitus; it’s horrible. My balance hasn’t been the same ever since. Having to watch these videos now cause I just ordered roller skates and I also love my skateboard and longboard. Thank you for these tips.
I have so much trouble just moving cause the wheel are just so slippery anyway to fix that? Like could I tighten my wheels so they don’t rotate as much?
85a is quite a soft wheel so they should be grippy but it greatly depends on what surface you’re skating on. Generally outside they’ll be grippy and at most rinks but if you’re in a house on a laminate floor for instance I think most wheels feel slippy on this type of surface. You can slightly over tighten the wheel nuts to reduce roll if you’re having trouble.
@@Skatie I was outside on concrete and a basketball court and had the same slippery feeling. I’m gonna try tightening the nut so it doesn’t roll as much. Thank u
My skating isn’t improving much anymore, the other day I tried to do a waltz jump but whenever I tried to do it moving I couldn’t balance on one foot for long enough. How can I fix this?
Definitely work on the drills in this video for balancing. You need to be really secure and have a good rolling speed on one leg forwards and backwards before you try the waltz jump.
