The Balblair distillery is one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland and is located near the Scottish east coast. The distillery character can best be described as 'very fruity and sweet Speyside malt'.
Balblair means something like fertile valley, but also battlefield. This is attributed to a battle between the Picts and the Vikings many centuries ago. We were allowed to visit the Balblair distillery and got exciting insights that we don't want to withhold from you.
