How does the number of balconies impact the pricing per square foot? Outside of perhaps a bit of savings when bulk buying materials, is there any savings when you’re quoting for a project with 300 balconies vs 6?
In our experience we've found that efficiency is maximized when working on 3 or 4 balconies simultaneously (both in terms of material & labor). It would be nearly impossible to find a firm/provider that has the capacity to undertake 300 balconies at once.
That one in Signal Hill blows my mind - those point loads bearing on a cantilevered section over a likely underframed first story, the bow in the rim joist/board is insane. Yikes!
You and me both - yet the owners don't see a "Cause for alarm". They are still calling different contractors to get bids. They are collecting bids like Thanos collects Infinity Stones.
