Bald Eagle Rescue 

What I love about this lady is she didn't take out her phone to record this poor creature. She just reacted like a caring mom. Thank you❤

Thank you for getting him out of the street. He probably needed to go to a rescue/vet to be checked out. Just because it flew off doesn't mean internal injuries weren't present.

Really hope you called a vet to come out. This bird needed help and was definitely asking. If that Eagle was ok...he would not have let you move him let alone get near him. Thank you for getting him off of the road, just praying you called a vet❤

When I saw a bald eagle, the symbol of the American flag, wounded and stuck on the road, I was impressed by the way a woman tried to rescue it. Great courage and compassion! There is nothing but respect! God bless this lady and the bald eagle!

This precious woman did exactly the right thing when she figured out the safest way to help the eagle get out of traffic until an official could arrive could only be done with her coat, a towel or a blanket. Props to all who stopped and helped. The eagle definitely needed help, exampled by the mere fact that they got within 20’/feet of to it, much less 5’ or less!!! I hope it was something minor so it would want to let it be helped and would recover and so it could recover quickly!!!

As a wildlife rescuer of more than ten years, this is what we do: assess the animal, get it to safety and to a qualified rehabber/rescue. All creatures deserve our help! ❤ Thankfully, he was not damaged but only stunned and needed a little recovery time before flying away. 😊

These people are so compassionate no one is beeping or calling out hysterically that traffic is held up they are all genuinely concerned for the Eagle 💗, I lived in Fall River, Massachusetts during the covid pandemic and saw that someone had run down an Eagle in the street. I have a photo of it, I was in shock for days I began to mistrust everyone in the town, as I was not originally from there because who does shit like that...👹

Sometimes when animals are hurt all they need is a little compassion to recollect themselves. I once found a crow sitting in the middle of the sidewalk and not moving pr reacting at all to people walking by. I got closer and saw that its foot was crippled and it honestly looked like the bird was crying. It also seemed totally out of energy, having a hard time to breath and thirsty, probably due to sitting in the heat for quite long. So I told my niece to go bring water and some bread from home, it was close. In the meantime I gently showed some affectioned and said to tje bird it was gonna be alright. When my niece arrived we gave the crow some water and it really was thirsty. I also gave it small bits of bread which it ate. It then laid its head in my hand and closed its eyes. I thought it was going to die. But suddenly he got up on his one foot, shook himself, made a crow noise, ate some more bread, drank some more water then he looked up as if saying thanks and flew off. ❤❤

Awww preciousness. Perfectly handled and respectfully done. It obviously had been hit as exhibited by the continued lifting and adjusting of the right wing. However, eagles are very resilient and this one obviously recovered through the kindness and gentleness of the rescuers. Well done. May your good deed go viral.

Thank you for helping. Eagles in this condition need a wildlife rehab so they can get proper veterinary help. They get poisoned on a regular basis from eating prey that has eaten mouse poison or similar. This is what they look like as their system is shutting down. Yes they can fly away but this behavior is indicative of a wild bird in very severe distress. Thank you for taking the time to make sure this beautiful bird wasn’t run over by other cars. I hope somewhere someone was able to find it and safely get it to a vet for the proper help.
