This video was super informative, thanks so much. I haven't seen such a detailed description on bald fades before. I'm new to barbering and haven't been asked for a bald fade yet but I've been kinda nervous about doing one until watching this.
I'm so glad you found this informative. Thanks for watching and please let me know how you make out when you do your bald fade. Good look on the feedback.
nice cut ... you should look into picking up ez blade shave gel .. its so clear thin and watery that you can easily still see the lines under the gel . best stuff I've used so far
Really nice hair cut. Only thing is I would watch out for using that straight razor on a kid nd a kid that's looking tired. That could of been trouble. But u handled it like a champ. Great job bro!
Awesome cut as always . Lol at ' coz we're related ... I had to smack him around the head with my brush haaha ' . I do the same thing with my Lil cousins when they fall asleep haaha .
Ricardo The Barber how did you zero gap your Fast Feeds. I zero gapped mine by switching the cutting blade from a #1 detachable blade. But, this cutting blade is slightly wider than the original cutting blade.
This a bad ass haircut dude lol, but what razor do u recommend for like beginners and should i buy some pre-shave and after-shave cream as well? I want my lineups to be more clean
Thanks Adrian.I would recommend the Sicilian by MD Barber website.Practice mostly dry shaves to get the sharpest cuts. If you need more lubrication just add water.
Great insight vid man. Quick question. What do u mean by the 1/2 blade? I thought the fast feed clipper completely open no guard is a 1 and closed is a 0?
Well that certainly explains why I damn near shaved my head bald thinking it was a 1 open. Will def use guards from now on just to be on the safe side. Thx bro.
Hi I thought I'd ask you a question because you are good with answering them. Why is it that I never see fades where people go 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 etc? Why not start with the lowest setting and work you way up the grades? Am I wrong in thinking that hardly anybody does this?
A lot of people don't because it takes a long time to cut the hair. It's dummy proof but takes a while. You also have a chance of unintentionally raising your blend this way. This is why people use guidelines so that never happens. There are a few tutorials on RU-vid where barbers are using said method tho.
In the video you said you adjusted the fast feeds to cut into bald, I just wanted to ask how you where able to do it. I just bought a pair of fast feeds and alot of videos I have seen have told me to push the side piece by the lever back to get the cutting blade closer, but it still doesn't really blend into bald as good. Just wanted to know how you did it since you where able to blend from bald really nicely
hello ricardo good job i like the video buen trabajo man, i have a question do you have Oster 76 classic with the detachable blades if you do, can you make any videos with Oster classic 76 few cuts ?
+MrBrooklyn4lyfe Yes, those are the Andis guards. If you're buying, get the "double magnetic" if you can find them. The single magnet guards are not nearly as good, but will still get the job done.
I did mine a totally messed up way lol. I filed some of the machine off near the lever.I would try changing the top blade to the detachable 1 blade. Once you change them they should be zero gapped pretty nice.
How do you knock out the line Between the trimmer and the no guard closed? I saw you using the closed again on the line? How the heck did that work i dont get it?
Hey just started cutting my son's hair about a month ago. His edge up is the hardest part because the points on his head(right near the temple area) really are not the same length. The cut looks good, but I notice whats wrong how can I fix this with out going back on the hair line.
I did some crazy modifying of the insides which i prob would never do again.I might try doing what kauistplayground mentioned earlier about using the 1 blade from the detachable blades to zero gap them.
Yes it will but obviously you might need to use some water on certain parts that might need it or certain clients that prefer it.Im used to doing the shapeup with the blade and cleaning the rest up with the electric razor now.
I just started cutting my son's hair. what would you recommend I start with for equipment. I have been using regular store bought clippers and I just can fade good or shape consistent. since I will be cutting it full time I am ready to make the investment into some quality equipment.
Hey bro can yoy make a video of you zero gaping your oster fast feeds please. I tried doing it myself and I messed them up every time I open the clipper it makes a noise other then it being quite please ! Thank you
i want my hairline like that ive got a really tiny hairline i wish my barber would give me a fresh cut i hate my barber but im going to a new barbers so its calm and they're way better than my old barbers
Ricardo The Barber In addition to the Oster 76 and the 00000 blade, what trimmers can I use to bald a head and make it skin tight? The Wahl Hero? Or maybe the Wahl detailer, the Andis T-Outliners Which trimmers cut bald heads the best?
Say Dawg can you tell me the best place to get the Oster Fast Feeds and the Nano Guards you are using here at a Reasonable price.. Can you also do a video on ''Zero Gap''' the Oster Fast Feed Id Really Appreciate it!!
