Love how when you did the Isobel seeing Dame Alyin part I thought "surely that's more the other way arou-" only to see you then do the opposite right after. Genius.
The act 2 boss killing spree was insane😂, me and a buddy I was playing with managed to convince 4 bosses total to kill themselves (couldn’t get Ketheric tho)
@@justafish4452you still have to fight him on the roof but if you say the right things, both up there and again when you meet up in the mindflayer colony, you can skip phase 1 of his final fight
You have to either be a cleric of Selune (or a paladin if you have mods) to get that moon maiden rizz or explore his bedroom in Moonrise to learn his history
The emperor really hits us with that “Multiple leviathan class devils in your area, are you sure whatever you’re doing is worth it” before entering the house of hope
And then he gets pissy when you get back, ffs dude i got like three immensely powerful artifacts, plus a WAR DEVIL fighting for our cause, and you’re whining about the hammer
Trolling the emperor by telling him no deal with raphael, sneaking into house of hope, stealing hammer (and freeing hope, she deserves it) and killing orpheus anyway
He’s just scared because he knows I’m gonna kick his slimy ass. And what do you know I killed him in like 1 turn during the final battle. Also I swore on my oath that I would kill Raphael and by Tyr I did it.
The emperor explaining why freeing Orpheus is a bad idea is SO ACCURATE, like chill bro, I’m not going to betray you, I just really don’t want to miss this entire section of the game 😭
I quick saved to see all ways that that could go and after seeing the ending where you don't let him and don't convince him mf went back to camp and is only released to pick locks.
I’m doing a coop run with a friend and it’s his first time playing bg3, we started with patch 6 and Idk how they did it but there’s a fuck ton of bugs even in the first 2 acts now. We had our characters disappear several times, his character got stuck in a floating animation and couldn’t move, Minthara keeps spoiling the nether brain and the emperor every time you talk to her, when you filter for scrolls in the party inventory it just shows you random pieces of gear and trash, lae’zel’s dialogue options are glitched, cutscenes skip themselves, characters voice lines stop working, we never got the astarion trying to suck your blood thing, didn’t get Karlach romance triggered and she just broke up out of the blue after we fixed her heart a second time and so many more
Raphael is truthly the best. The catharsis I feel after telling him he sucks in bed and deleting him with a hold monster into divine smite combo is unreal
actually MASSIVE SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED THE GAME WITH SHART AS A GOOD GUY .... ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT OK DO NOT READ she references her shit hit rate with this exact spell in the "party" after you beat the game
2nd Honor run bested and immediately there goes 3rd. I am evil this time I keep saying myself, but I cant be evil, I cant give Shart to Viconia, I cant raze the Grove. I just cant man
Lowkey on a bg3 youtube rabbit hole and I keep hearing ppl talk about how many run throughs they’re done. It seems like this game is insanely long though which is the reason I’m probably not going to get it. But is it one of those games that can be super long or rather short? Is it not as long as it seems??
@@emilyr8668 It took me 200 hours to complete my first run. It came down to not knowing what I'm doing, where I'm going and getting stomped by enemies I shouldn't have fought at my level. I highly recommend going blind at first just for the shock and amusement when afterwards you discover how much you missed. And there's A LOT to miss, just because there are not a lot of markers outside main missions. There's a stuff, areas and mechanics I didn't know after 500 hours, even though I search things up obssesively. Also there are different paths, the Dark Urge character origin which is a canon story for BG3 and so many classes that can be mixed into multiclasses, that hugely vary your playstyle. Now when I got everything down about this game I can do a solo playthrough in 20 hours with just one character, it just requires knowing things, so if you don't have much time to waste you can just the tutorials and still have so much fun.
Sacred Flame is save-based. It might not be your bread and butter attack but when you have low chance to hit due to terrain/AC of the enemy it's a good alternative
@@vralkathormidugqf2317 Karlach: *Uses Enraged Throw + tavern brawler to knock Orin on her ass and deal eleventy billion damage with a teddy bear * You're right! That was satisfying
@@vralkathormidugqf2317 Incoming spoilers... It's insane that Raph's character weight is a measely 160. With the gauntlets you can easily pick him up and swing him around even in that Balrog form he takes. The game doesn't have an actual animation for him being attacked in that way. He just A-poses the entire time.
@Infiltrator_ I want to try romancing other characters but Laezel always jumps on you first, and I never have the heart to tell her off 🙃 Seriously though, I think its insane how easy it is to get the Laezel romance compared to the other ones. I think its ok that she just wants you for your body at first and that its not a commitment, but I literally never failed to advance her romance quest, no matter my playstyle or choices, even I didnt try to at all. Literally the only thing you cant do is become a mindflayer, but thats only relevant at the very end of the game and doesnt matter anyway since becoming a mindflayer is basically death, so it would "fail" any romance in my eyes.
@@JacobTheToadMan You better do it soon. Or no amount of hot mommy drows will be enough to save you. P.s. I said "Us" as a character. Top tier cat. Must be acknowledged.
I was so scared of fighting in close range with minthara for my first playthrough that i just attacked her without starting the dialogue 😂. So I didn't know raiding the grove was an option.
I think the owlcub can join in whenever just need to save him, and long rest enough for the event to occur Got the interaction when long resting after beating Kethric
Fun fact:U can recruit Minthara without slaughtering all the tiefling(the only reason tbh...those druids can die)...u just need to knock her and kill all the goblin leader...while in the temple... U just miss the best scene tho👀
The Gale needing artefacts thing is overplayed, there is a bunch of shit amulets and rings and such in act 1 you can get him that you would never use. The hat you find in the chest next to Alfira for instance is only useful if you plan on having a bard, the ring with colour spray from the harpy nest, Komira's Locket, the Amulet of Silvanus, the Key of the Ancients or The Watcher's Guide are also trash items you can give freely. I get it's supposed to be exaggeration but y'know
It's only because he asks for them early. By late act 1 you have more than enough for him but he wanted to ask me when I had all but 200 gold, two poison bottles, a sword and a dream. Most people don't know or atleast take awhile to get to the not so good items so by the time they get trash to feed him hes already eaten his share of their boots and doesn't need them anymore. Managing Gales hunger as someone whos played 6+ playthroughs and knows where to get items is marginally easier than a beginner player that hasn't found anything yet. Like, I have 22 days of playtime and I didn't even know there was a chest next to Alfira until I read this, and I've knocked her out more times than I can count (love being durge)
It took me until my third playthrough to figure out that he actually stops asking after a while. In my first one I was a wizard myself, and in my second I was a sorcerer, so I always had him leave my party so I wouldnt lose out on loot. Knowing know that he only takes maybe a handful of items in total and where to find early game trash magic items His "cost" is trivial. Although it certainly didnt feel like that the first two times.
My first time play and the only survivors so far after The Emperor reveal are Shadowheart, Asterion, The Space Pirate Woman that looks like an Orc, and Gale. I personally killed everyone else.
I wished there was an option to tell the Emperor I just want to kill Raphael and take his other stuff, and that I have no intention of using the Orphic Hammer. He's got Gloves of Hill Giant Strength and and an Amulet of Vitality, I can't pass those up!
me who doesn't half whatever this shows because i killed most character, wyll dead, karlach never on my halsin, jaheira attacked me first encounter, isobele? same killed her straight
It’s good amazing even but I would not call it peak peak means there is nothing better that it can only go downhill bg3 is amazing but not in all aspects overall it’s a 9/10 game
I'm sad I can't experience BG3 for the first time again, the entirety of Act 2 and 3 is what made me love the game, and the personal character stories are something I'll keep playing for, because I cant get tired of it.
I am currently doing a Wyll playthrough where I am making him as out of character as possible. He raided the grove, killed Karlach, and serves Mizora completely and without complaint or using the situation to try and get out of the pact. I'm currently in Act 2 where I'm siding with the Absolute to get closer and the only surviving Party members are Gale, Shadowheart, and Minthara.
