Hi all! Today we have another deity build AND another origin build! I decided to give my take on what would happen to Gale after the events of BG3, and what kind of relationship he would have with Mystra thereon. This was really fun to discuss and build, as I find the synergy between Cleric and Wizard to be quite fun.

If you aren't playing as Gale, and don't have access to the Ring of Evasion, a good ring for that throw away slot could be the Ring of Blink. Fits the lore since you get it from Tara in act 3.

That camp outfit made me fall in love with Gale all over again lol 🤣 but this combo looks fun! I also think in-game NPC builds are really fun for the role players. A friend of mine loves Rolan's voice actor and made him as a custom character in the game and RP'd as Rolan saving Baldur's Gate! But builds for Dammon, Alfira, Zevlor etc... could be fun

There is the argument for some "post-game" builds since many characters in the epilogue have changed there expertise. Wyll became a ranger, Astarion is a bounty hunter, Laezel is a Monk. Would like to see your ideas for that.

ive been searching high and low is there a way to build pyschic warlock with illithid powers. Like a power hungry warlock whose pact wasn't good enough from them and turns to the worms. Edit: Even a Illithid Sorcerer would be sick!

Watching through your builds lately, and it's kind of funny that this is the second Gale build, as I have switched to your Origin build from what's essentially this build that I have been using for Gale before that XD

Do full party design. A, B, C, D work together because of X, Y, Z. E character works too. You don't have to show full builds but the key synergies. (Gloomstalker, Shadow Monk, Warlock with Devil Sight, Trickery Cleric) there is a start.

Nice build. Gale is one of my faves. For equipment, you might want to check out the Ring of Feywild Sparks. It seems like it's for Wild Magic Sorcs, but it has a hidden +1 to Spell Save DC effect you don't see until you equip it. Real nice. The Callous Glow Ring is also good, as it adds the 2 Radiant Damage to each hit, like each missile in Magic Missile or Scorching Ray. Just some thoughts. Keep it up, I like your build ideas.

Conjuration school doesn`t give you the blue jay transformation.. thats in the Transformation school. You get Focussed conjuration, with that you cannot break concentration when takin damage (Conjuration spells only)

Because of this video i learned, in my current campaign my character have meet 3 weave anchors. The first one is Volo of course, the second is Mirt, the third is the main antagonist of waterdeep campaign Manshoon. Also: Hobo: "14 dex is fine" again. Dex will double remember that Edit: i just got to the slow part, im with you on that. That spell is underrated as heck, that spell alone maked our barbarian useless for the entire fight

As much as I don’t like gale I really like this build and the flavoring of making the spells sound like everyday things. Also yes a fire and build would very cool to see.

You think Gale's best ending is to stay with Mystra, the goddess who groomed him from childhood? Ehhhhh idk if I'd agree with that, I like the route where he goes solo but doesn't take the crown. Humility, wisdom, and self respect.

I don't mean that he literally goes back to Mystra and is in a relationship, but gives her the crown and becomes an anchor for the sake of protecting the world from powers like that being unleashed again. Gale is very much his own person separate from Mystra here, but still has her blessing.

I have a suggestion of content I’m not sure if it’s good or bad with patch 7 mods should be coming to consoles so it might be good to explain some of them to the console users like me I only know of 2 mods I might use which are the expansion to the classes and the expansion to the races but I don’t know what you get with them

I hate to say it, but I don't think console mods are coming with Patch 7. They are bringing official mod tools, but console mods are likely still a few patches away.

I actually love the idea that he is tapping into the Netherese magic from the orb and doesn’t know it, adding a deep layer of irony for his dislike of sorcery. I love it as a concept and it justifies giving Gale con save proficiency so 👌🏽

If I would come with the idea, while post-game builds are very thematic, I tend to do “during game respec” builds. I mean, when a character makes certain choice, like becoming dark justiciar or changing the diety, following Vlaakith despite all odds or realizing she's been tricking your people all this time, I plug in something revenant, Paladin of Vengeance, changing cleric domain, adding a ranger, oathbreaking during a certain event, things like that. You seem to be the only one in my RU-vid who cares about lore and theme, so I think you could do the best job in making these, I don't know, character arc builds?

I'd like a series of long form where you talk about areas of the map / battles and just talk about how you like to approach it, secrets, creative/fun alternatives & ways to accomplish things, etc.

@HoboZone haha, I'm trying to experiment more each time through. Like you can really ease the Karniss fight by killing that whole party without him around, and you can even attract-> shove that wizard into a chasm to start the fight. And you can minor illusion separate every undead Inc. The big guy away from Balthazar into the big room and kill them 1 by 1 without him turning hostile.
