Fun fact, you don't have to use a Drow or even a female to play this. BG3 takes place in 1492 DR. Eilistraee herself began working to include men in her clergy, starting in 1320 DR, and by 1323 all clerics of hers were aware of this and men were welcomed into their ranks.
Pack of the Chain is great. Better early, yes. But always good. Unlimited, guaranteed surprise rounds for the entire game. A few exceptions sure, but not many. You can really position how you like and open with a bang. Remove the big threat before they even act. And early game the Imps attack is quite strong. Give it Mage Armor armor, Aid, Longstrider, and it's natural resistance to everything. Not bad. Plus it's a perfect scout.
My first character was a gith sword bard/goo warlock and i stacked all the physic damage i could got the illusion bonus action ring in act three and did the crech machine where you get the mindflayer abilitys on bonus action. I stacked every physic item after. I did so much damage ranged and in melee.
I went with beast master with astarion to add an aditional combatant to the field and make it so he can basically always proc sneak attack but the usefulness fell off near to the end of act two since beast master doesn't really multiclass well.
For your Mythbusting suggestion i dont hate the idea, but ProxyGateTactician kinda has that concept on lockdown... i apologize if that comes off as mean. Im sure you can give it a go, all the same.
Thematically it would be great for Astarion.Luring people to sleep near/with him only to feed on them once they're asleep. After all isn't it exactly what he's doing to tav?
Idea for a build centered around a couple of items: - Poisoner's Gloves - Thorn Blade - Derivation Cloak - Broodmother's Revenge The build would be a high DEX melee fighter that does poison damage while concentrating on a spell, and possibly poisoning targets causing even more poison damage being added to the mix. I just kind of slapped these items together on Astarion (7 Rogue/5 Ranger) on my current playthrough and I've been loving it so far! With high AC you can just run around poisoning people and not worry about getting hit in the process. Love the videos, keep it up!
I played one of these recently as a pure hunter ranger and incorporated psychic damage and mental fatigue as well to just have a ton of damage dice rolls dual wielding the thorn blades
@@-Mushroom_Kid- I can imagine how good it is with the whirlwind attack! I've got a bit of psychic damage too with the strange conduit ring but I've also got the risky ring for guaranteed sneak attacks every round.
So I know you don't watch other BG3 RU-vidrs, but Bosch just revealed a REALLY cool bug with Shadow Blade. If you summon it on a hiring, and then completely dismiss the hireling while they still have it equipped, and the rehire them, the Shadow Blade they have equipped will be permanent and transferable to other party members, and can even be duplicated. You can actually dual wield them!
Druid aka Doodad (has to be your Dwarf Druid's name). I cant remember that Druid's name, but he was in several of R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books.
Also, you can have a hireling summon the shadowblade, dismisses them and then rehire them through Withers and they will have a permanent shadowblade in their inventory. This also works with flameblade.
Didn't get a notification, but so glad I was just checking and saw this. Been waiting for this party build since you started doing these!! So happy thanks.
cleric no warlock when i say forgive me o lord for i have Sin'd it is not the same as you saying sorry daddy I've been naughty? warlock what there the same thing!?
@@HoboZone cleric ask for forgiveness "from there god forgive me father for i have sin" warlock ask forgiveness from there patron "sorry daddy iv been naughty"
26:53 it's a city... Yeah, AC is kind of a problem when you have access to only light armour but don't need DEX for the build. Wouldn't be a problem for Rogues, so +1 for those next!
