After an issue with the baler takes me out of the field and a day behind I'm racing the upcoming rain trying to get 2 days worth of baling done in a day. #farming #dairyfarm #hay #roundbaler #breakdown #agriculture
Service is everything Mike, no matter what color the machine. About 8 acres left of 1st cutting and some 2nd ready to go. Another dairy called it quits near by. Sorry to see them go. Keep at it and stay safe doing it. See you on the next
All ends well ,we just finished 2 cutting grassilage whit no breakdowns so every once in a while you got to need some luck you know how it works,thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer

Can't beat that kind of service call though. As you said, "Things happen", especially mechanical things. Before a rain my joints don't move all the way either 😅. It's starting to happen to me too.
@@TheGrumpyFarmer I get what you are saying Andy, I too graduated High School in 1985 and in a week will be 57 years old. We are slowly becoming senior citizens?? Or just becoming plain old!?
I had a similar problem with a different brand baler when it was still under warranty. The netwrap actuator failed, so I swapped it from the twine mechanism to keep going, called the dealership, explained what I did and the salesman said he never thought of that, and sent me a new actuator! Great video, and keep rolling!
MY BROTHER HAD THE SAME ISSUES AS WELL WAS LEAVING THE NET WRAPPED EVERYWHERE IT WAS WRAPPED AROUND THE TEETH BAR THEN THE WRAP WAS SO LONG AND DRAGING OFF THE BALES OH WAS SO ANNOYING WE WERE BOTH CUSSING THAT DAY IT WAS WRAPPING AROUND THE WAGON TRHAT HAULS THE BALES AND AROUND THE BOBCAT WHAT A MESS
@@johanssonurban6097 I never really thought about it until it was pointed out. A European company name being flagged, not because it sounds like Hitler, but because it MAY sound like something that was used as a slur as late as the 1980's. That's the last time I heard it used.
