We're finally baling hay after a very wet June, trying to remember how to work all the equipment and working around wet spots in our fields. #familyfarming, #baling, #cattlefarm,
The humidity was so bad this last week and weekend, it was hard to dry down hay....Glad to see you guys got some hay put up....Good to see Dave out given er hell baling....Thanks Dave.
I can see where net wrap would hold the leaves in better than twine.. but im still not sold on netwrap. It has it's issues.. so does twine. Getting it done!!! BTW, be careful, because she is actually aiming for you..
Awesome video as always Back when we still farmed in Switzerland our hay tedder had a special gearing that would allow to make small windrows (a 4 star would make two) called night swaths and that helped to dry out parts of the field faster then one tedded it again after the dew was off. I think Kuhn has that option on theirs. Nice that your neighbor came out to help ya get some of the baling done.
