Thank you for noticing. I'm in this for the journalism, not to make a buck from marketing companies and so I tend to review the stuff people haven't heard of. I take pride in finding, having, and knowing the unknown.
Too many markings on the slide. Tisas used to do this, but they are starting to make slides with no markings. They are listening to their customers! I like the matte finish on the gun.
Having had my own share of difficulties disassembling and reassembling 1911 pistols I will never criticize the way anyone else does it. As long as it comes apart and subsequently goes back together it was properly done. If it doesn't work, you take it apart again and it usually works out in the end. As you said, it is a handsome pistol but it just doesn't make me itch to get one. I did, however, look up their website and bookmark it 😀
Very classy looking pistol. Tempted to add this pistol to our collection 🤔😊.we look forward to your range review. Ivory informative , thank you for sharing 😊🙏
You had the barrel bushing turned the wrong way. To the right (from the top-rear of the pistol) to remove the plunger. Then to the left to remove the barrel bushing. Easy-peasy. Assembly is reverse. Install the bushing to the left, then turn to the right to install the plunger.
There is no such thing as too many 1911s 🤓 Graham does a great job of presenting every make and type of gun. Look up the list of videos on Grand Power and Canik for some good non-1911 content.
