It's crazy that you hear people say: they cant shoot right, they cant shoot correct, they cant get the form better -DAMN, the only thing I see is players and coaches that CAN'T stop them from making baskets.

You should break down Collin Sexton's shot, since I see he has a lot of guide hand contact with the ball when shooting, but still manages to have perfect arc and rotation

Coach, I have this theory regarding why some players bring the ball from the opposite side of their shooting hand, like Lonzo Ball and KD. For some players, tucking the elbow in to have it aligned with shoulder,hips and ankles, makes the shoulder/lats/upper back tense in a way that's detrimental to the shooting motion. I don't know the cause (body mechanics, flexibility, whatever...). If the same player brings the ball from the opposite side, the elbow instinctively and efortlessly goes to the right place/angle thus 'fixing' this part of the shot. Probably not textbook right, but it is something to think about and might help on some cases where the player has trouble tucking the elbow in (think someone like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist).
can you make a video on shooting off the dribble and shooting off of stepbacks and such. I try to shoot off of these but I have trouble getting the ball up fast enough without it getting a bad grip on the ball.
This helped me shoot better like lamelo im the youngest out of 3 too now im hitting corner threes effortlessly.Before i started using lamelos jumpshot i was ariballing corner threes
Hey Coach, I got a problem. Yesterday I started shooting 3s and was hitting about 5/25 and then out of nowhere I shot 50 3s with a lamelo like form and hit 38/50. Today I started shooting again and I shot 100 3s with the same form and hit 88 of them . Should I start shooting with that form all the time or work on my typical one handed shot?
They all have great lower body and targeting but dear God their jumpshots from the upper body and up are the equivalent to when you create a 500 pound successfully aborted but come alive again Ogre in Skyrim or Dark Souls
I'm sure these Ball brothers could shoot well any way they were taught or tried. Athleticism counts for a lot. Lonzo and Lamelo can look at target longer which helps aiming. Going to be interesting to watch how they get guarded in future. Release point is lower than a central release- would have thought this will be easier to defend. Hand in face or toward ball- Lonzo could be quite disrupted at NBA level.
hey coach c was wondering how to develop a triple 90 shot pocket I feel like I make a 45 degree angle and the ball is to low I try to fix it but then I can't shoot 3s and I usually still shoot the same way in games because I'm use to it thank you even if you don't respond your videos are awesom

I just had a quick question concerning the palm rotation that is used by Steph Curry: Does Curry consciously rotate his hand or does it just naturally happen as he brings the ball up and flicks his wrist towards the basket? Also, what point does he start to do it at; as he's bringing the ball up, at his set point, or when he's flicking his wrist towards the rim? Any answer would be much appreciated, thanks so much!

Kinda wish I knew this sooner. I used to bring the ball up my left side and get buckets but I thought it looked weird so I changed it. Now people say I shoot like mj and I still get buckets. Sometimes when I'm not thinking the ball goes up my left side but I don't notice it.
