What a beautiful knock on a slow and spongy (bounce) pitch.. Except that dolly catch he played with almost 95 percent control , this innings is a masterclass..This kind of innings was needed on 19 Nov 23 (even that track wasn't this tough).. sachin is truly the GOD of cricket 🛐
Did Not seem to be slow Wicket, Given Srinath & Ambrose Both Bowled Well..Wkt Offered Good Bounce to d Fast Bowlers ...Offered Turn for the Spinners Too.... Typical 90s Wicket It Seemed 😊
After this overwhelming success of wills world Cup which was conducted at India in 1996 Sachin's individual career graph never comes down. At that time Vinod Kambli was also considered a significant player at one time he smashed the highest test run in an innings by surpassing Sunil Gavaskar's 234 or something. In the semifinal against Srilanka played at Eden Gardens after sachin and key players got out the audience went to rampage mode and the match was declared a win to Srilanka. When the play stopped Vinod Kambli was in the crease and Sachin and Azhar even went to the middle of the ground and Kambli went back with tears. But now nobody knows Kambli.
You do really great job by posting early 90s videos, specially of Sachin Tendulkar.I really love these videos bcz I have seen all these matches live on my television in my childhood but I still miss these moments.these are unforgettable memories ❤❤❤❤❤❤
barring d WK catch drop off Bishop's Bowling.. Sachin Played Almost Every Delivery, Say More than 98% at least with d Mid of d Bat.. Delightful to Watch His Backfoot Skills Even When He was Defending or Keeping d Spongy Bounce Down of All 4 WI Pacers... Playing d Inswingers Well Forward, so 1 inside edge created no problem. Barring Divine Backfoot Strikes to Great Ambrose & Walsh.. Significantly He Toyed with Attempted Yorkers by Them .. The Deck was Not easy at all.. Had Uneven & Spongy Bounce..was Having Some Turn for d Spinners as Well.. To Mention It was Very good to See Ambrose Walsh Bishop Kept Bowling Till FirSt 17/18 Overs Then again Ambrose Walsh Were Brought Back into d Attack Around 27 th Over to Take Wkts.. Batting in ODIs ( with Both White & Red Balls) Were Not easy cakewalk / circus like Modern Days.. ODIs gone dead in d last decade
Hi @Anirudh Bro Why did You Remove 2Very Imp SRT Innings from Ur Short Videos ? 1) Sydney 45 in 1999-2000 2) Adailade 153 in 2007-08 Downunder.. It's a Request.. Please Bring Back Ur Those 2 Uploads Back
The ball-by-ball highlights of the 90s are the best, Anirudh. Shows how the good the batting was against some class bowlers. Have been waiting to watch the 'full' knocks for some time. Good quality video too.
Gwalior! These cities used to be talked about casually. Now they have really fallen off the national consciousness. After liberalisation, national news is 85 percent Delhi, 10 percent between Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad and the rest of India: 5 percent.
Thanks for posting. Sachin looked more uncomfortable that day. Barring a few glorious shots, it was Westindies Bowling greats who had a dominating time with the ball.
